Oi also to prolong turbo life you should get a turbo timer ooooorrrrrr just let it idle for a couple minutes after you stop somewhere if at allll possible. It keeps oil circulating and so it doesnt sit in the lines and get all nasty... or so i hear. Anyways its a good idea to let it idle. my .02

You should get a battery cleaner little cylinder thing and clean the posts and the inside of the terminals really good and then make sure you tighten the terminals real tight. I forgot too and was worried for a little bit. And do whatever GD says he knows more then me.

Theres been about 100000 threads on this so try a search but the most common thing i hear is buy a weber carb for the low end beef. High end is harder... so wait for a subaguru to come along. Seriously though do a search... oh did i mention searching:cool:.

My dad was part of volvos club. He had a green Volvo DL wagon with over 300k before it died. The turbo coupe has 250k but rebuilt engine.

When your doing little tests and stuff like this what ive found helps is you really need to plug loose vac holes with like a screw or somethin if you dont know right where they hook up... this way you wont have so many vac leaks. Of course the best is just to find where they go

Its not coming out the tailpipe for me, its coming from what i thought was an exhaust leak in the engine bay from the headgasket. But if theres a leak somewhere deep down its dripping onto something hot and smoking up causing it to look like an exhaust leak for me?!?! This is purely fantasy and probably not right and i am a terrible mechanic but for tonight i will be happy.

Agh so... Dexron ATF, as in the stuff you fill powersteering with, will burn white too huh? Well in a way this is good news as i am starting to think my cars head gasket is okay but instead there is a leak in the PS somewhere.

Is it a turbo? Mine does that but its turbo related i was told by a friend and totally normal. I hope its not bad or else ive been effin up my engine.

I love this idea.... on that car it would look excellent... flat black with dual white stripes down the middle would look sooo cool.
