...and up here in N. AZ (Prescott) not a single flake yet. Wierd. Looks like fun!

Is it just the pics or are those tires shot? Oh, and stop crying over the lack of posts, its a pretty new thread. It looks like a nice project, but not much else is going on yet. I'm in for the lift pics later.

No joke, plus the bastards got a whole barn full! @ 1982gl4 Looks like the weight reduction gave you a bit of a lift too! I would bob the back end, lose those back seats and then cage it.

New From Flagstaff, AZ
LegacyBrad replied to Subie2Go's topic in Meet n' Greet. Your USMB Welcome Center
I think that is a great idea. I have a few run in mind, maybe this spring (after I get some new AT tires, lol). -Brad -
Really liked the shirts, but your website looks like it is from 2001 and the crappy, automatic music woke up my son Not cool. Also you checkout does not work, as stated above...

New From Flagstaff, AZ

What up from Prescott! Nice sounding wagon. -
Wow, what a mess! That will be fun to sort out and teach the kid along the way. Also I think a brat with a reliable EJ would make a great car for a teenager.

Broken Key in Ignition
LegacyBrad replied to soobenthusiast's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
Buy a set of key extractors, shoot a bit of lube ( like wd40) in there and use the tools to pull it out. Instructions: Link: http://www.clksupplies.com/shop/product_info.php?cPath=197&products_id=1187 Good luck. -

The howling from the bad pump and the clacking of the cv in the corners of my 93 leggy was driving me f**king crazy, so, this last weekend: Passenger side front cv/half-shaft, new power steering pump, New exhaust piping, new muffler, replaced throttle body sensor. I can hear my stereo over the car now! Once I have all the broken stuff fixed (heater and window seals next) then its time for the OB strut lift and lighting upgrades

Lifted!
LegacyBrad replied to 1982gl4's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVX
Love it, can't wait till I do the same with my leggy. -
Looks good! Although I think its time for a push bar...

So I have a quick question for the forum. Which way do I turn the nut to loosen it? After looking at the new one it would indicate that turning it left (loosey) would do this, but I can't get it to budge, even after soaking it with WD-40 for a day and using a 4 foot cheater bar! After really going at it I broke tool #2...oh well its a craftsman. New ones are free. I hate taking my stuff into shops, really want to get this done myself. Pic is of passenger side 93 legacy wagon. Still want this thing off...:-\

Tire Sizes?
LegacyBrad replied to UMT's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVX
Tire size, sidewall, diameter, speedo difference. 205/60-15 ---- 4.8in ---- 24.7in --- 0.0% 205/65-15 ---- 5.2in --- 25.5in --- 3.3% -
Hey there, what size are the tires ???/??/R15 on the 15" rims you have and how much would you let all 4 of them go for? email me @ endlessbreathdidges@gmail.com
Thanks

What car do they go to in the first place? What the heck does "with off road suspension" even mean? Off road springs? If they look new (no leaks, no rust) and they fit your car why not get em? Thats about half the price of a new set.

I would use windshield adhesive myself. Very strong adhesive. Just let is cure in the sun for the proper amount of time. http://solutions.3m.com/wps/portal/3M/en_US/Marine/Home/Products/Catalog/?PC_7_RJH9U5230GE3E02LECIE20S4K7_nid=Z777MMR7KSbeQH8HT14PGTgl Also, this is a very good read and relative to you interests: http://distributionbizwiz.wordpress.com/2007/09/12/hints-for-replacing-sealing-acrylic-boat-windows/ Post pics!

Thanks for the help. Although there is a lot of info out there about the OB strut swap, its never really "spelled out" like it has been here. If I understand correctly, this is what I will do. Swap in the full OB strut/spring assembly in the front, then just the OB strut in the back with my leggy springs and I don't have to swap "hats" in the back? Seems like the easiest way to go about it. Thanks for all the help. I haven't been able to find those BFGS in 27X8.50R14, Superu, but I found it in the General Grabber AT2s. Tire looks pretty sweet. Might go with those eventually.
