  1. well i am not going to drink it, or play with it, all i know is my 88 spfi wagon is running better, as far as oil companys supporting it ,right they want you to get 15-16 mpg all the time ,keeps there pocket full, you show me the proof that it does not work ?, this topic is just like brands of oil [ all oil is the same according to some people]
  2. no worse than adding b-12 to your tank ,why would it blow up ?
  3. well i went ahead and tried 3oz in about 12 gal gas , surely 1 time would not hurt it , i put it into a 88 spfi 5sp dual range wagon with 189,000mi , the other board member swears by it , so i will post my results in a week or so
  4. i will look at it tonight , but it is not set on top dead center 00 , a dumb mistake
  5. as i was looking at a few ea81 books i have i found the problem , when i cranked the engine by hand, because i wanted to mark the .8 mark with a marker so i could see it , well instead of setting it on 00 i left it on .8 and forgot all about it
  6. up date on xado, mpg city driving ac running, full time 4wd a/t turbo wagon , ac running before around 20mpg 87 octine, now after using xado, city driving , ac running , mpg 21.3 - 21- 23.5 , 87 octine ,from the same station , compression was up a average of 135 psi from 120 psi, , and i followed all directions , temperature stayed the same ,idle the same,
  7. there is a board member using it in a fwd a/t turbo wagon , mpg went up , and also in a ford probe , and he showed me the web site etc... can't remember his board name , he lives 10 miles from me+ only 1-3oz per 10 gal of fuel
  8. air cleaner / intake area , if i set the timming like .20 it runs better, but remember it had some oil in the weber also , all of this happans after it warms up
  9. saw a interesting write up , 3oz for 10gal of fuel , mpg increase from 2-3 up to 9mpg , can be bought at wal-mart 4.97 a 32oz can , any opinions ?
  10. i usd lucas power steering fluid ,but i had no power steering at all , cleaned out the tank and added lucas
  11. yes the hose was unpluged and pluged off, yes the rpm's go up and down , if i set the timming at .8 it almost dies , so i set it at .12 idles better ,but back fires real bad etc...
  12. borrowed a timming light , set timming at 10, now it is surging real bad, i checked it before resetting it and it was like 22 , back firing real bad now , decided to park it for now ,
  13. while tom was down here his suggestion was that my dist was off by a tooth , which way would i turn it ? i have no ea81 haynes book and did a search
  14. still having a few problems , now ac does not work , clutch cable may need replaced , no free play ,but it runs alot better ,
  15. i did not buy the awd a/t legacy wagon , soooo i will not be needing the tranny or rear diff ,
  16. tom from hillsdale mi stopped by , things were ailtte screwed up on my brat, less than 1 hour tom had it running 80% better my timming light quit working so that did not help , i still have to adjust the clutch cable , but it runs ALOT better thanks to tom ,
  17. compression is higher ,runs better,i will post mpg after 1 more fill up with 87 octine ,and from the same station + my opinion

  21. new weber, but what about the oil in the weber ? i must have screwed something up ,thanks
