ok, i can get amsoil from a local store 5.85 a qt , royale purple 5.95 shipped to me . but i may try 15-w 40 , my wife will not let it warm up a full minute , but it is fairly warm in the garage , thanks just wanted opinions

i did a search buy nothing, i have a 88 turbo a/t full time 4wd wagon, 100,000mi , different people run different types or weights, but turbo's get hotter and oil breaks down etc.. ,since the weather is getting hotter in the midwest 20-w50 is what i want to run, but not sure of the brand, amsoil, royale purple , castrol , i run amsoil 20-w50 in my 88 dl d/r spfi wagon, 187,000mi ,it really likes it ,but has leaked alittle more , royale purple claims better mpg , less friction , and changing oil every 12,000mi filter at 6,000mi , amsoil and royale purple runs about 6 bucks a qt , and i will be running mobile -1 or wix filters , so i just want to hear what other people are using ?

if your talking about the return line i went to napa and used high pressure fuel line or they had tranny lines also

i agree with trogdor , my 88 turbo full time 4wd a/t did the same thing , but also check heater hoses, if your going to change the coolant hose also change the oil hose which goes into a metal line ,

nice looking drive it up to the meet , i would buy the other one but i am full meaning to many subaru's right now , parking lot full

yes go ahead , at first mine on my 84 brat really fkgkgkfol , but after everything was hooked up right it is great ,

miles fox is your man ,he is in WI right now , he already stopped in chicago on the way up , buy all the parts needed and he can do it at your place ,he has all tools needed

wagner subaru fairborn , they have the best customer award 6 years running ,according to drive magazine , they have been there since 1975 , i know of beachmount subaru ,they screwed us also or tried

my 84 brat with 192,000mi shifts just fine+ mine has no rust and got it very cheap + spare parts to boot

well aleast i am not having or think iam not having fuel problems , just trying to get best mpg out of my turbo full time 4wd a/t wagon right now 20mpg city timing set at .22 big cat cut out , ngk plugs, wires, k-n filter , 93 octine

what would happan if you did not hook up green connectors while setting timming ? i for got to hook up green connectors ?

remember miles fox is might be going to ct and northward and then south ,so ask him to tow it for you

all of a sudden i lost power steering in my a/t turbo 88 full time 4wd wagon, while i was changing the radiator i caught the return hose , i replaced the hose and no power sterring or very little , this morning there was no power steering at all , but as you drive it it gets alittle better , any suggestions ? and yes it is full ,
