set timing up to .15 still same problem , when setting timing is there a vacuum line that has to be removed and then put back on when timing is set ?

it is on my 84 d/r brat with a weber , i put on acell coil regaped plugs , set timing at .8 check all vacuum hoses , any suggestions ,it ran fine with a regular coil ,but wanted a better coil

difference in interior , gl-10s are even nicer , cloth seats ,sunroofs , and i think trim on the outside

the reason why i ask, is because i delivered a sign to a oil place , place has been there a long time , anyways , asked why is gas cheaper at some places , she told me places buy very low octine and add alcohol to get the octine up ,

is it possible to boost octine by adding alcohol ? and would you gain anything ? if so what type ? like to a 88 turbo

only damage to mine was , a blown tire ,small cut in side wall , so running 185-70r-13s goodyears in front which i had, and 185-70r-13s douglas in the rear , 20 bucks to mount 2 tires or buy 1 new one at 35 + mounting , + small dent in door ,

washed car today no damage , but the tire i blew had a slit in it , but i had a new tire sitting at home , still alittle mud on it

very professional trail crew ,and thanks to the owner of the property , i filled up when i left drove 325 miles and still have 1/4 tank of gas , going to wash it today , get tire fixed, good things to take along , frs radios , spare tire, jack, tools, water ,cell phone antenna, i hope next year we can do it again , and of course more people, , any time the trail crew is up this way give me a call ,your always welcome here ,

yes we did , went up some very steep hills + raining . i had to get pulled up 1 hill , blew 1 tire , had a spare , lost 2 mud flaps but found them

might find a local junk yard with good ones on the back, or try ebay ,the ones at a junkyard will have the springs and all ready to go

i will say a few things, i have never off roaded like this, , another thing is thanks to the owner of the property , and for the trail boss, i had a very good time, a few times i got nerves , lost 2 mud flaps ,but found them , leaked alittle oil, 1 small dent in door , [ 3 in long] got home about 1:30 am sunday morning ,blew a tire , but had a full size spare , i took over 10 pics myself ,

i changed 1 wire at a time , only used the coil from the a/t brat , i have no time to mess with the brat , taking the dl wagon , thanks

before all this it ran fine ,

changed coils to acell , regaped plugs at .48 , now it back fires , could i have mixed up coil wires ? timing is set at 8 degrees

i am bringing jack stands, tool box, small jack, 36mm socket, braker bar, , i guess it would have been better to bring my 3 door 5sp ,pretty rusty , but it is only 2wd
