  3. i could be wrong, either tps or coolant temp at autozone
  4. replace, if i remember ,autozone has them like 17 bucks, but look up something for a nissan , miles fox knows which one it is
  5. here is my opinion, royale purple or amsoil , good thing about these are changing oil every 12,000mi changing filter every 6,000mi , or castrol gtx 20-w50 ,every 3,000,mi always use a good filter
  6. got a nice a/t awd legacy wagon , but need a key made for it , wheel is locked ,and i really do not want to change all the locks, ignition.. if i remember you can use the vn# and get 1 made ,
  7. i finally got around and looked at my 84 brat, marked timming ,set timming, , looked in side weber and the front parts ,looks to have oil down in side , what gives ? still having surging problem , but no back firing , did i mix up a vacuum line causing this? , also would the acell coil cause the surging problem , ?

  9. there is another board member that has the same set up 18-`19 mpg, my a/t full time 4wd turbo gl-10 gets 22-23mpg city and 24-25 hi way , depending on how fast my wife drives 70-80 mph or 65 mph
  10. well this is no crap , do not change your coil to acell , , 2 in pipe from cat back , no big cat, air box cut out, k-n filter , ngk plugs, 8mm wires , , all adds up to good mpg, all this is on my 88 turbo a/t full time 4wd gl-10 wagon , 22-23 mpg city, 24-25 hi way , remember the full time is a 4 speed a/t
  11. ok, i understand , owner still has to come up with the key ,before i buy it , may need some help with it or legacy parts, i looked at the rear diff and it seems like it has been leaking more than normal
  12. owner was going to get key from his brother ,which had the car before hand today , 6/28
  13. found a pretty nice awd a/t legacy w/ 122,000mi owner says it has a bad noise coming from tranny or drive line , i could not hear it run because there is no key , but owner is looking for key, could this be a bad u- joint in the drive line ? or bad tranny , owner says it will shift ok and drive but just the loud noise , can be had for 300 or cheaper , owner is just about ready to junk it
  14. the 120 psi was before i added the xado , , the car has to driven another 60 miles aleast so i can add the 3rd tube , + fill it back up and see any difference in mpg
  15. ok, added another tube , seems to idle better , my wife drives it soooo she will be the one to tell any difference
  16. the fine gentlemen is kansas sent me 3 tubes of xado , , i am following all directions ,it is going into a 88 turbo a/t full time 4wd wagon , w/ 103,000mi , here are things i have done to the car, air box mod, k-n filter, ngk plugs, no big fat cat, city mpg is 22.3 , highway 24.5 without air running , compression on all was average of 120. lbs , i still have 2 more tubes to add , + fill the gas tank and get a good city mpg reading, and no i am not getting paid for any results good or bad
  17. no tom it was not , i have all ACCELL coil's on my subaru's , , so just a warning they will go bad , here is a question , by putting the oem coil back on will i have to regap the plugs ? right now there at .45 ? car seems to run just fine
  18. took a small vacation , 160 mile 1 way , on the way back we stopped at a rest area ,the acell coil went bad , the car would not start up and the coil was real hot , good thing i took a oem factory one along , 10 min job and back on the road , thanks to all the members that said take a extra one along , because where would i have gotton on at ,the coil only had 21,000mi on it
  19. no doing outside house work , will look at it monday - tuesday 27th -28th, i did notice that one of the steel ends are not hooked up ,close to the dist

  21. what is the price of 1 tube ? if your willing to send out a sample ,i will try it in my 88 turbo a/t awd wagon w/ 102,000mi , and of course i will post all results , good or bad
  22. wal-mart oil filter 2.10 ea, wal-mart super tech, 1.25 qt , castrol 20w50 at advance auto 1.48 qt , i got wix , mobile 1, bosh ,, a case of ea at 2.00 ea,
  23. sorry i will never use wal-mart brand oil or filters, do the math , 2.10 filter, 1.25 qt oil .6.25+ 2.10 = 8.35. castrol 20w50 1.48 x 5 = 7.40 mobil 1 -2.00= 8.40 , 1 nickle difference ,
