  5. man those wheels really do look good on the car. I knew I shoulda kept'em
  6. I thought divorced wastegates DPs were stupid
  7. legacy axles should work, but they have a longer track (ie wider)
  8. more info/pics on the dist setup?
  9. cause the engine is mounted wrong, duh! :-p TWTIWBTW
  10. how about an RX drivetrain, with awd and a proper susp. what do those have under them anyways? is it multi link in the back or what?
  11. flows better cause it is bigger at the neck (where the carb/throttle body bolts on at) same size runners and single port tho. and yes you would need to make a custom adapter. there was a guy who did it might have been on the old board.
  12. I thought he sold it MS and all?
  13. or use the SPFI manifold with the webber, thats worth some ponys as the FI manifold flows better. or for the bestest one evAr use MPFI heads with a custom manifold and dual webbers.
  14. WRX ones will work aswell. but they are long, I'm trying to find the shorter ones, but seeing as tho i live with the WORSE parts stores ever its a long slow process.
  15. Jesus christ he said he ordered that stuff like 2 months ago.
  16. so will a stand alone, with better injectors. and you'll be able to make more power. but if the band aids work for you go for, for me they would be a waste of money.
  17. its all band aids, bloody band aids I say.
  18. what wiring? its carbed with a dist. I didn't do the swap, and he spliced in to the main harness and used the stock dash, switches for teh fuel pump, ign, and fans.
  19. so ya I was messing with it last night when I got home from work, decieded to try and start it. no go wouldn't fire, so I get some new plugs today, get home go to test the spark re-notice the middle switch decied to flip in and turn the key it starts up. hmm shoulda remembered that switch last night. anyways let it run set the idle speed, drive it around my drive way see teh volts dropping (I took the alt off awhile ago and I don't really remember how it went or how this idler wheel went to keep the belt off of the oil cooler line coming out of the engine.) so I park it agian, walk in my house notice the smoke alarm going off look up and its full of smoke, look towards the window notice that it is still open and teh fan going full blast pulling the smoke in(I had to dump a lot of MMO on to teh enigne to free up the Apex seals) so it runs, drives now to get it into drivable shape and put some miles on it.

why do you need 400 bucks? that like a TWE header, which would flow better.
