sounds like a poor ground. the alternator is supposed to be connected to the battery at all times too.

dunno but i tried an aftermarket muffler and it was too long to fit in the crevice. so i used one from a xt. xt muffler has dual out and looks sweet.

i agree with you, its easier with some pressure in the system so i can use my leak detectors though.

it seems to not install not deep enough? the crank has a radiused front thats where the lip of the seals rests. it leaks a LOT I installed a speedy sleve and new seal its not any better. im at my wits end.

maybe a HKS style filter is better. washable foam should be better than paper imo

ive seen those things, mostly mitsu branded, but i think all the japanese auto makes have made them. they are often in large plants used as matinence trucks. very very underpowered

the boot is removeable, its a press fit 90% of the time it should just pry off once you get it off. pickle fork works but best for trashed balljoints. safety wire can replace a cotter pin.

the y pipe itself has some lame welds that impede air flow right at the exhaust port. you might want to spend some time grinding those welds.
