  1. you forgot to tell us how it sounds.
  2. what about the XT ea82 the regular one had Dual port heads and a mutch better designed intake manifold. also look into a muffler, the stock one is restrictive. mines off a XT as well.
  3. yes they only go in from the deck. the wristpin snaprings subaru uses are a pain to use though
  4. new tensioners and it was tighter than the old belt
  5. it was making a awful noise and made less and less power and ground to a hault. it had less than 30 miles on it
  6. why not use one of these http://www.ingallseng.com/parts/38100.htm
  7. for the less than the price of rebuild you can get jdm engine so i dunno
  8. the very top tip of the fork the only reason i asked is becasue the parts computer shows a spring there.
  9. heck on a trueno 100 hp is a lot more than it came with
  10. is the top of the fork supposed to have a spring? what does it attach to? mine never had-is missing? i ordered a bolt 773028050 and forgot where it goes. any help?
  11. im guessing its because theres only 3 main bearings instead? thats an excellent question
  12. not going to take pics but its very simple. its a cable that runs from the clutch fork over the engine to near where the master cyl is. you should see where it connects theres a spring and its pretty obvious.
  13. how do you blow a IH engine? hydrolock it? those motors are made TOUGH TOUGH 345 or 392?
  14. do you have the right distrubitor already? it would be easier to just use all parts from a carbed engine.
  15. i suppose its possible you have to make a spacer since the throttle body on the spfi has coolant running through the base. it would be better to use a carb manifold in that case becasue then you could use a 2bbl. what are you trying to do?
  16. im not sure what you mean by that
  17. the most id do is change all the seals. have you rebuilt transmissions before?
  18. whatever you get synthetic always seems to make the shifting smoother. in any manual i have ever owned. this stuff is great but expect to change it every so often. http://www.racerpartswholesale.com/redtech4.htm
  19. id call a lot of used car dealers and see what company they use. im sure there is someone alerady heading out that way. lots of times when i worked at the ford dealer when the trailer was full they would use a driver and the cars that didnt fit on it would have to follow along. but that was using the cheapest service they could get.
  20. maybe one of the 3 oil pump relief springs went bad? thats my guess. how are you loosing coolant? does it go into the catch can? if you let it sit does it go empty?
