  1. maybe just stiffer springs and the KYB bumpstops (they are lot stiffer than stock) http://www.bilstein.com/html/applications/9100/index.htm scroll over to the bottom where it talks about the bump stop too bad its not practical to fit that to a car
  2. no. the kind with a top and bottom control arm is a little better. just as long as they are designed for the purpuse, the longer the control arms the more the travel.
  3. id only use that kind in the rear. they arent suitable for front unless you like to feel of the u joints when your turning.
  4. i dont think its worth trying to fix these. one off a newer subaru will fit fine if you have a ea82 type car.
  5. does it have air suspension? why is it so high
  6. what exactly are your clutch symptoms?
  7. limited by balljoint angle, strut length, need camber plates to do a proper alinment, camber changes through out its travel. sounds limited or compromised to me.
  8. my subaru likes to lift off oversteer, sometimes it just grips HARD and i get some 2 wheel action. depends on the road surface.
  9. i re-padded the seat in my car. used about 2 yards of batting. made it mutch better.
  10. yes never go there again. this engine is called non interference so the cam can freely rotate with the pistons in any position without damage. all you really need to to is change the belts and perhaps matinence things like seals and whatever is leaking. the oil pump seals are a good thing to replace while you have everything off.
  11. you sound like you have some ambitous plans, at this point have you considered getting a more off road freindly vehicle? maybe an ATV? im not trying to discourage you but you may find that the strut style suspension has its limitations.
  12. i dont believe ive ever seen one. looks like they ripped the grill off a saab. doesnt look like mutch of a car
  13. whats a codia???? im sure you will like it mutch more with the top mount installed
  14. yes they suck but if you want more room under the hood you can put them in front of the rad, condensor and reverse the polarity
  15. i carefully worded my post to reflect that
  16. that sounds too thick to see any benefit from.
  17. the turbo engines have a diffrent final ratio, and you never said if it was automatic, or 2wd, or dual range or anything.
  18. where are you going to get head studs? can you get more than one set? id love to see teardown pics. was oil pressure ok when it happened
  19. you want a set? i know rear bumpers with spare tyre carrier are expensive
  20. you would prabably be happier with real oil like royal purple (dyno proven to add power)
  21. personally l like white better. i dont like the stickers in back either.
  22. if its that cheap it sounds like a no brainer
  23. vinegar will dissolve most of the sediment, but the best thing is proper matinence.
  24. all you need to do is change the compressor oil (it absorbs moisture) and the dryer. use the oil for the 134a since your changing it anyway.
