  5. screw cleaning the valves ill just get new ones. stainless would be nice. my motor mounts seem soft from being coated in oil all the time, but i dont know what how stiff normal ones are. should i replace them?
  6. yes true but i see very little connection in weather throttle position has to do with weather a engine pings or not.
  7. id leave it on it doesnt just effect emmisions, Egr makes the engine less susceptible to pinging.
  8. if you think thats your curb weight your very mistaken. im not going to spell it out for you, just go weigh your car and see.
  9. not my expirence. the F150 are pretty stout, but move on to the 250 on up nope. I have broke 4+ f350 when i drove them. the new 6.0 engines have soooooooo many problems. you would be shoucked how many got bought back. 1 the brakes went out on (198k miles) 1 it shifted to drive I WAS OUT OF THE TRUCK 1 wouldnt idle after i drove it I think it was just the fuel filter though. 1 f250 gas the tranny went out on (getrag) this is all within 6 months too.

  12. ever heard a RX7 with a straight pipe. i swear thats the loudest car ever. abnoxious ear bleeding loud. glad to hear it worked out for you. did it brake ok?
  13. even the door panels look like a squareback's they must have used one for inspiration when they "designed" this.
  14. popping out of first is definatly not normal. is that the only gear that does that?
  15. yeah that stuff isnt coming off very easily. its like asphalt, and a wire brush barely dents it. im soaking a valve in paint thinner to see if that loosens it.
  16. why is the area where the valve seats with the head black? why is my intake vavle loaded with deposits?
  17. if you have nothing it would prabably be easier to get some header wrap.
  18. damn that WAS fast. do you keep the timing covers on?
  19. i dont agree i had a saab convertible for a very short time, it was always in the shop, and while the interior was nice the car just wasnt very good. lots of chassis flex, turbo lag was horrid. i would never want another.
  20. did any one's engine have lifter bores with a nasty burr on top? they are so hard to pull out.
  21. if it bothers you just buy new bumpstops. you have to compress the spring and unbolt the top and you will see it.
