  15. that really isnt a good application for ball bearings. delrin or even polyurethane is a better choice.
  16. well i wasnt offended at all. feel sorry for the poor bloke though.
  17. mine doesnt feel like its going to last 200k miles. something is constantly wrong with it. i just did wheel bearings, tyres, struts, and it needs timing belt, seemingly every seal in the engine, v belts, shifter got lots of play in it, pinch bolt in the steering knuckle broke when I tried changing the ball joint and it grinds 3rd. engine runs super smooth after adding additional grounds like those sold on ebay.
  18. lately when i have started my car it has idled high until i give the throttle a tap. check engine light is off. what do you suppose is wrong.
  19. its over $500 in parts to do the timing belt from the dealer. all the cover seals and new tensioners (mine need it)
  20. got a trade in car at the dealer. 97 escort wagon 384k miles on the odometer. thing is that it wasnt working when I drove it. engine was original but needed a tune up bad.

  22. theres a car I can get free i dont want. a 1991 passat vr6 automatic with 120k miles. trans is blown. the owner took the plates off a few days ago and its parked next to my jeep. anyone like these cars?
