1995 Legacy Wagon Offroad Mod Tips Needed
There just about the same cost, Subtle wants 399 for ironman springs and Primitive wants 439 shipped for king springs. I run king springs on my forester and i love them!

Hate it kill your dream... But that's a ea81 lift kit not a ea71... First gen brats are build different and require more spisific blocks.. SJR hasn't build a lift kit for one as far as I know. Thats a second gen brat lift kit for sure..

This is understandable, I updated my Specs on my first post. As far as photos of my welds the next set i made ill post pictures. The kits i already have made are painted so the next set i make ill be sure to post pictures for anyone who's wondering how good i weld, and get penetration to the max. But i can insure you that my kits are build for what ever you can throw at them. I weld my strut tops all the way around the tube, unlike others, (excepts around the bolt holes so you can install the nut better). As far as posting my PDF of my install, im working on my web site to have it on there for accsess. But for now i prefer to send them out with each kit along with the invoice. If you have anymore questions feel free to ask, Patrick

King springs are stiffer and have a higher load cappasity than stock. You'd have to run them to know, you'd never go back though there's pretty amazing springs. Yes, if you do th 1.5" subframe drop you will need to extend your steering shaft. Or find a 90-94 legecey in a junk yard and grab one off of that. With all my kits send a PDF Of detailed instructions for installation which includes the subframe drop. Happy to answer any more questions! King springs are here, http://www.get-primitive.com/ Patrick

Thats my goal! I personally wouldnt say its not necessary, as long as you dont mind changing axles frequently? haha. Jean the camo wagon on here blew both of his out the other day, blowing by a Prius doing 80 haha. he only has the 2" suspension lift. I could do that, 100$ shipped for the front blocks. But what rear suspension are you planning on running? If you running accord springs, you will lose uptravle in your rear because the shock is maxed out and wont compress as much. If you want to improve your ride quality, i would highly suggest getting a set of king springs for there car and installing a full 2" lift. The photo of the white wagon on here has the same build and can go places where lifted rigs cant get. On top of king springs being amazing! The front will only be 1/2" off stock axle geometry with the full drop. The rear axles only travel in the Y direction (up and down), the front travel in both X and Y (up down, left right.) The front axles take a lot more stress because there under more loads and stress causing them to go out more frequently. As far as the rear 2" dosnt affect them at all, ive seen people run 4" and only time they had any problems was only under full exstention and pulled the CV out of its cups. and the other time i saw one break he was bulling a fordranger out of a hole going full bore on a 3" in the rear, and broke the main shaft in half. No problem at all! Its my pleasure! Patrick

NOW OFFERING EA-EJ ADAPTER PLATES!!

Plastic EA-EJ adapter plate?
Thank you Numbchux. This is not smart. It'll be cheaper in the long run to buy a aluminum adapter plate. But if you serious about this plastic, I will gladly give you my PVC printed adapter plate, I made a while back. Just need to glue each piece together. Lol. Make sure you take a lot of photos after words, I would love to see the after math!

EA82 to EA82T ?
It's not worth the swap. Easy and more productive to swap a ej22. The ea82t heads tend to crack and are becoming harder to find. And if you want boost find a ej22t that'd be fun! Prwa

Plastic EA-EJ adapter plate?
I can get the aluminum EA/EJ addapter plates for 100$ untapped. Pm me. It's worth your time to just buy one. Plastic isn't hard enough and won't last long enough with the heat I would say. Prwa

1988 subaru turbo GL, EJ22 and 4" lift, plus 6lug swap build!
Yeah I found that out after reading up on it. One reason why I just put another ea dual range back in. This one has 180k but was owned by an older guy so she should hold up for much longer. Actually your build a while back is what I read, along with others though. Sad that didn't work for long. I'm tempted to build what Pooparoo has in his brat. That would be a beast! Need to get my lathe so I can mod and build an unstoppable ej/ea tranny lots of time and work but would be worth it in the long run. Haha. Prwa
