  1. i would use a come along and pull it out as much as possible before doing anything i would get it as straight as i could then run some c chanel over it (1/4 inch thickness maybe) weld c chanel in place forming a nice renforcment then redrill any holes you might need then do the same to the other side so its just as strong
  2. are you using a buffer or jut a rag? i just used a rag and i had no problems with it going threw the paint
  3. i just did head gaskets on mine and its comming out the over flow to open the rad cap while its hot is it foamy? if so then yes your still getting compression in the system if not its just normal overflow my datsun did the same thing installed a overflow bottle never had another problem same is gonna hapen to my wagon these things really need that overflow bottle edit judging by that hood im willing to bet that some rubbing compound and elbow grease will bring that paint back

  8. ive been debating redrilling the hubs as well i have some american racing 14 inchers that are back up wheels for my datsun and they would look bad rump roast on my wagon

  10. had some fun today before work went out in the blm land behind my house and ran it like i was in a baja race then climbed some tree stumps this thing keeps impressing me with what it can do off road but i think stump climbing is about its limit with stock suspention but it is one hell of a little baja car as it sits im thinking that at least a mild lift will be in this things future

  13. i might be not sure i just know im in lapine lol yeah dad is fun to work with sometimes hes an ********************* but most of the time its fun to work with him this isnt the first project he and i have worked on together so your in bend? you should come to la pine and show me some cool places to take this thing
  14. took the subi on a little adventure down the fire roads then the quad trails was rather surprized at how well it managed
  15. my dad had his 33's in the garage and i had the car up on stands so i got a little insperation this is with the car on jack stands set at the highest setting dad thought it would be funny to act like he was ran over anyway new axle new ball joint and tie rod shes as good as new
  16. update waiting on a new tierod took the right front corner apart needs an axle (knew this ) grabbed the extra one that came with the car its the wrong one also discovered that the bal joint is shot all of these things combined are what is giving me the vibration from hell so now i get to order an axle and a ball joint unless someone on here has these things for cheaper on here and is willing to part with them

  20. i wasent having fun when i went to go home tonight after work freaking blower keeps intermitenly going out im not exactly sure what the deal is with that
  21. fixed the speedo today and realize its not so gutless lol what i thought was 45ish was actually 60 were supposed to get snow this week so tomorrow im getting the slow leaking tires fixed and she will be on dd duties

  23. wouldnt that still be the odd lug pattern? the typical 3 lug pattern is 4x41/2 for most rwd cars and 4x4 on most front wheel drive
  24. the plans for the datto are now to let it be my hot rod as it was intended now that i have the subaru for a daily driver this winter she is getting a tear down and getting a new cam and dual side draft carbs the ultimate plan latter on down the road is to get the body work done and paint it with a vg30er ( supercharged single cam vg30 found in newer fronters and xterras) and some chassis reenforcement the girl on the hood in the pic above is a friend of mine i was trying to get the car into the ratsun.net calender and figured hot chick on top of my car should land me a spot unfortuantly it didnt but i got some nice pics out of it my personal favs
