went and did a little wheeling with chim today now the car has a stumble and less power i crushed the y pipe so im gonna try and straighten that and see if thats where my loss of power is comming from

so is my goon but that doesnt stop my from dding it it allows me to practice my heal toe

im planning on going to go an a little 4 wheeling outing and take some pics i want to take it to some rougher spots and see what it can do stock before i start modifying it

i ran into the same issue i have the stock steelies that came on the wagon but the later ones i tried to put on hit the control arm

fixed the ************ty rump roast hitachi carb no more vacuum leak it actually idles now and has a little more power

i was looking at mine today it goes to the heatsheild right behind the starter

that sticker in the tailgate is epic

if you like i have quite a few spare wheels around if you need some but since you fixed it odds are that you wont be needing any

subaru will not be carrying it thats for sure

i didnt see this mentioned but you say the legacy is trashed why not ej the loyale then scrap the rest of the legacy you could get a good chunk of change out of the scrap value and not to mention selling struts and suspention stuff you wont get 1500 but you will get a bad rump roast loyale and some extra cash in your pocket

i wouldnt mind joining a club after i get my wagon lifted a little but it all depends on the type of offroading

i know its kinda old but i have an opinion on the emissions and banning of old cars all i have to say is have you heard of sema? the nhra? groups like this will never allow that to happen besides the government cant just force people to get rid of there cars

only issue i can see is it could create some huge blind spots

so if anyone has either a weber adapter or the bottom half of a hitatchi that has no shaft play at the throttle blades let me know i need one of the othere a.s.a.p.

im trying to see what comes along first i just did the rebuild so fixing the hitatchi would be awesome either way it will be fixed i cant keep the 1500 rpm idle forever

i dont think i have the newer intake i think its the stock one from 78 i already have the weber i just need the adapter because i know its different then the datsun adapter i have i have already gone threw and used a rebuild kit on the hitatchi the problem is there is so much play in the throttle blade shafts that it is causing a huge vacuum leak to the point that when the car is running i spray carb cleaner on it and the rpms jump buy about 700 its so bad that unless i have the idle turned up to about 1500 the thing wont even run if you have a base to a hitatch that has no play i would be interested in that for sure
