  5. i have good tight steering wheels(no airbags included) for sale and ill even give you a few bucks for your old wheels(i know how to fix em) if anybody is interested
  6. bench bleed the new one first, then it will onlu need a little bleeding to get the air out when installed, have help to bleed brakes and bleed the chit out of them
  7. then there is allways the bad axle issue, that couses a vibration at idol only, i have had that issue with a napa axle once before
  8. i second the oe gasket, i have had other brand gaskets fail but never an oe
  9. well the trans tailshaft is at the rear of the trans LOL basicly follow the drive shaft foward and when you hit the cross member you found the tailshaft, its directly above the crossmember support trasmission(pipe on a floor jack) and remove crossmember, remove trasmission mount, there will be 10-12(count) bolts going around the trans(12-14mm) and the top ones will be a bit*h(woble socket/long extension) beyond that i dont know i havent done this repair on a manual a whole bunch on 4eats mostly of the 96-99 vintage
  10. also our subaru's do not have the traditional transfer case, like chevys or toyotas, the transmision contains all these parts in one(mind you VERY heavy) conveinent chunk o alloy
  11. but my house is so much cleaner than the shop i got video and a shop and a ton of subarus, al makes adn models any body willing to help me out, make our own USMB chit let me know im here working on subarus most of the time j
  12. if the master cyl looses 1 part of its 2 part system it could couse the pedal to do this,i would bleed the brakes first, then if that doesnt do it, replace master and rebleed untill all fluid is clean and new, that should do the trick....
  13. the reason i brought it up was the switch is in real chitty shape im goingto swap it out real quik and see what happens
  14. i second that, my shot guns loaded, i am a AHOLE and people are allways buggin me for A DEAL and that toyota sounds much better than a sammy
  15. wanna sell it, i love me some toyota and i havnt had a good one in a year im seriuos, i will buy it if you would sell it
  16. my trick ith thee holes is to cut off the pipe and weld a cv ball into the hole, i have done that on old ea motors and 1 ej, works and is quick, and uses what laying around
  17. i put a complet gl-10 suspension on an 83 gl wagon and it worked, i had to add 2" to the lower control arm, bolt the leading rod on with 1 bolt instead of 2, and weld it on with some extra metal, it all worked but the front end was lifty as heck in 2 wheel drive, i ran it in 4 wheel drive and it was fine, but in 2 wheel it would break axle boots all day long
