This is a project I started yesterday when I was given a Mini Brat shell that someone had stored in the rafters of their barn for 25 years.

If you end up not using the beauty rings I would love to buy them for my brat project.

Had my 1980 white brat color matched and the said 2011 Hyundai vanilla white was the closest match. I have used 6 cans and it blends great!

I just had ignition problems in my 1980 brat the other day, I had to take the whole back of the ignition tumbler off and re-solder the connections. The back of the tumbler comes off with just one tiny phillips screw, then I think you could poke it out from the back, reinstall and put the screw back in.

It is from California shipped to NY. I would love to talk with you about any history on the car.

About a month ago I bought my 11th Subaru a 1980 BRAT and started fixing it up. I really love driving it. It gets lots of attention, and you never see another one. Two weeks ago I located a Mini BRAT that was in rough shape. I bought it, fixed it up and made it match my Brat! it will be my Cruise Night toys. My other car is a 1994 SVX, and my wife drives a 2011 Outback.

Are you going to sell the original drivetrain?
