  1. Already found a tailgate?! You must have a parts source, eh? lol
  2. In for at least 1 based on price. Thanks Oh, XL please.
  3. I just realized you are outside of Conifer? I snagged my brat in Silverthorne. Where about did you locate your's? Love that part of western Denver.
  4. J get the redrill. I quoted that because I thought he meant the wheels were turned 180 degrees on their face and they are not.
  5. Just saw this post and I am lost. Those wheels are not reverse mounted?!
  6. Man, what I would give for some parts off that. Beautiful wagon!!! Best of luck to you. If for any reason you want to part her out please keep me in mind.
  7. The flange had broken off the rear so I had to weld it back together as well as make a new hanger for the rear. Now the exhaust is back on basically.

  8. Not a master at restoring/modding but I can make most things work. Making those front strut assemblies fit the rear would require a lot of fender well modification. But you could make it work.
  9. That would be pretty cool actually - shouldn't be too hard to fab up either.
  10. I will be following as I am restoring mine. If you get a parts lead let me now, lol.
  11. NO, at least I hope not, lol. It was a private seller in Colbran, CO. She runs and needs some work so I wouldn't think she was scrapyard bound. Title was registered to his Dad.
  12. Any updates for this scenario? I am awaiting a response from someone who actually gets these in hand?!
  13. Possible driver side fender and front grille metal, not light housing grille. This will fit a 1980 brat, correct?!
  14. Saw an old VW truck like the ones you posted a few days ago. Man was it a looker. I say restomod. Make her sound and still retain that vintage look. I am heading down this same path - resto and small drop with some bigger wagons and camber.
  15. Guess I can add finally: Welded on the exhaust last weekend. Sounds much better! Spent about 30 hours cleaning out the entire Brat. Found some spare parts and learned a ton about her. Love my new project!!!
  16. So cool! Good little car you have there. 38 years off the road? wow.
  17. Looking at a Fel Pro oil pan gasket as well - FPOS20107C http://info.rockauto.com/getimage/getimage.php?imagekey=125849&imageurl=http%3A//info.rockauto.com/Fel-Pro/OS20107C_TOP.jpg
  18. Based on my manual and searching, this looks like the ticket? http://info.rockauto.com/getimage/getimage.php?imagekey=476938&imageurl=http%3A//info.rockauto.com/BeckArnley/BA0396289-1.jpg BECK/ARNLEY Part # 0396289
  19. Ok, good to know then. That is actually where the pump attaches to the block then. So, all I need to do is loosen the mount and take her off, make a gasket and seal properly, use an O-Ring (what size by chance?) and bada-bing huh?! Now that I know it is the pump area, how would I know if the pump is bad? Thanks for the help. Speaking of parts, hanging on the side of the tranny is a sensor and two red wires. Those wires are sheared off and dangling. What is that sensor? I am thinking a reverse sensor?
  20. That seal should not go in with only finger pressure. Granted I have not done a subaru one. I have done other vehicles and they require some careful hammering with a wood block in between usually. Typically getting them out is "kind" of hard as well. They usually get destroyed.
  21. My 1980 has all brown caps. Does that mean they were really red though? I thought they were a brown from the factory? I also thought blue ones were 1981 and up?
