hey all. so when i took out my dash i unplugged the 4 vacume lines off the back of the heater control. so not thinking at the time i didn't label the order they were in. does anyone have a diagram or know the correct order? 88 gl/rx wagon

WOOOHOOOO!!!!! john called me this morning when he went to get my car. turns out the tranny is OK!! it seems that i busted a rear stub. so off i go to eugene tonight after work, and let the cleaning/dash work begin.

well it looks like it will end up with the RX tranny. 30 min into first driving/leaveing eugene sunday morning to go to work...... i did a mild launch out of my friends driveway and *CLUNK* "wow my car's in 1st but im not going anywhere"....so i already busted the xt6 tranny:banghead: i have to stay in bend due to work so hopefully my car will be ready by wed. night because i have alot to do before this weekend.

i suggest you look on the internet for the gen1&2 JUN imprezas.i have a video of a gen1 wrx with 600hp doing 309km in NZ

i was curious about this too. even on my fastest setting, my wipers are still on the slow side.

i just swapped a turbo fuel poump for my spfi one. it's about double the size

car is soooo close. .im back in bend now because i have to work the weekend. swapped fuel pumps right before i left and started laughing! the turbo one is nearly twice the size of mine. still need to swap rear arms and plum th IC and radiator. baccaruda- cant use RX front struts because of the 5 lug, and i already have new struts in the rear+ someone allready yanked the rears of my rx.

well after some very long days, my wagon is almost finished. now its really an RX wagon. Mudrat79 and i swapped cpu,complete engine harness, cluster, crossmember, and 1.8t engine, (the cluster for an RX is identical to mine so i swapped my middle icon section on to it). and diff lock switch. i didn't want the 3.7 tranny, so in it's place came in a XT6 AWD 3.9 with diff lock.(LSD comes later). i have some other goodies, but i wont speek or show pics....till the 27th i want to say thanks to garner and also HTI-johnson. this kid is great. first day i met him he started helping out alot by wrenching with us. so for the few of you who said "it's all show and no go" with my wussy spfi, i will be "showing off" in hood river.

HTI- i still have a bunch of parts off my RX if you like

i have tried everything to get thoose bumpers. i even contacted the previous owner of that car, SOA, and no luck:(

he has a 89 so that "style" of grill will fit

hey i got a quick Q. in the dash, what size are the tiny bulbs(they're about half the size of a 194) i think it's like 2125 or 2127????? please advise. _BRad

that doesn't sound right. i put and RX grill on my wagon.

the 3 doors and the 3dr RX all had the same grill

however the axles wont work with your tranny. i had a D/R tranny and got custom xt6 axles with 23 spline inner joints. as i don't need them they're up for sale...

well tonight when i get off work i will be heading to eugene. starting on monday is the turbo swap for the wagon......also a learning experience for me:grin: . i will have a RX parts car + random parts off mine for sale. i will post in the marketplace later, on whats for sale so don't ask here. hope to take a ride in garner's brat:brow: !.... when he gets back to eugene. so anyway back to work i go so i can get out before 9. if you live in eugene and want to meet up or need parts 541-390-6604. _BRad

from my experiences i would suggest that boiling sound is your coolant in the resivor. check the pick in this post http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=19733 see if that sound is coming from there.

you can still order brand new body panels!..they just aren't from subaru.
