stngllhm replied to tailgatewagon's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
i'm running 2.5" from the turbo back. had it straight for a while than i got tired of the noise so i got a turbo muffler from autozone for like $16 it is not much louder than stock and i didn't seem to lose any power after putting the muffler on. it accully made it quieter than i wanted<G> -

well adjust it to have less play at the top of the pedal that will make it disengage sooner

your asking for trouble advertizing you want to put an aluminum wing on an rx here<G> try a search this has been covered maney times some of the mods i like are spider intake intercooler delta cams and megasquirt'n'edis don't have all done yet but hopefully <money permitting> they will be soon -
can't say for sure. but to be completly honest its a mattter of were you like it to work. manuel says 1 to cm of free play at the top but you can have more if you want just make sure that you leave some free play at the top or you will wear out your throw-out bearing. and if you leave to much free play at the top it will be hard to shift. but there is a lot of room in between to play with

remove the spare tire and get a 12mm and 10mm wrenches. you will see the clutch fork sticking out of the top of the tranny you want to adjust till there is adout 1 inch of movement in the clutch pedal before it starts to depress the clutch

no i don't have any and i don't really want to pull it again right now but the side shot looks basically like a standard subaru injector as soon as i get some money i will take them out and have napa clean and test and i will take one of the standard injectors in too so i can get a comparision but that is a little ways away sence i just started a new job -

all i can say is they where in the car when i bought it and they work a lot better than the ones that where in my spider intake when i got iti just want to know what they are from if i send them off that means i will have to swap the old injectors back in and these work alot better plus i'm broke -

the spider intake manfold i got had been run on an 85 rx and the injectors look like the ones shown in this thread http://ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=23317 well the car was running like C**P so i decided to try the injectors off my old intake and when i took them out they where totally diffrent they fit fine and pluged in but there was no pintal showing. the car does run a lot better now. what i was wondering sshould my injectors from my 87 gl-10 turbo look like the ones in that picture I"ll try to get pic of my injectors tommrow
