Immediate Opinions Needed!

it sounds like that teacher is a load of s**t. did you sign a waiver for them to work on it if you didn't you can mess him over for that. as far as fixing all the stuff i wouldn't trust it to that dumb s**t. and that is the risk of sending your car to a school to get it worked on. that sucks and i'm really sorry to hear about it -

Newbie with question about 83 Power Steering
stngllhm replied to wjwatkins's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
more than likely your starting problem is your accerator pump that is what always gave me trouble on my 84 as far as the gl-10 more than likely the 83 gl-10 i had the 2wd 5 speed, sun roof, roof rack, digital dash, and a cassette if it is a gl-10 it should have most of those options and yes just pull the engine it is quick and easy i got to where i could have mine out in 1/2 hour same time to put it back in. but i pulled it like 5 times in 2 months had a run of bad luck as far as 400,000 you should be able to hit it a had 350,000 on my 83 gl-10 when i left the oil cap off and toasted the engine. i was mad -
yes milage will show up if it was towed

stngllhm replied to sheppie62's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
hey it doesn't get that hot around here and i still have a/c on my car and plan to keep it i don't like heat. but if you are going for room to work on the engine removing the ac will give you alot of room. but if this car is being built for more fun than it is racing you gotta think about creature comfort -

I Need Radio Wiring Help!
stngllhm replied to Gravityman's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
basicaly the olny wires to use from stock harness is switch + and ground you will have to run a constant from the battery make sure you put a fuse in somewhere. and run all new speaker wire cuz subaru used a shaared ground for all the speakes and it sounds like c#$p if you try to use stock wiring -
