it should not be a problem your air going into the tb will still be quite warm -
no truer word spoken
-
how would it effect air flow to the radiator. this is a big deal to me cuz casper mountain is a 3000 foot climb in 3 miles it may be 4 but it is still a heck of a climb and if you want to climb it fast you have to have a good cooling system.

yea but i toasted the first ea82t in my wagon at 160000 so i'm not sure

i'm agreeing with the consences here that if the towing company f**k up they should replace it with a new one and lick your shoes. i was wondering is this an auto or stick -
Bought it yesterday. Has some body damage and i have to track down the title. But it is fix able. It is an 87 3-door 5-speed full time with diff lock. The steering wheel looks like the one in my 91 wagon not like the one in my 87 wagon is that normal for the rx. btw it has 130000. hopefully i will be able to get a title if i can't there will be a lot of parts going up for sale. but lets not think like that

bump anyone got solution for me this is my daily driver so when it acts funny it really sucks and i don't want to have to park it and drive my ford so please help
-
yes i know it is the bov you can hear it quite clearly. i was looking though some old post and someone was talking about shimming the sping. will that solve the problem and if so how do i do it. pleese bear with me i'm still learning alot about turbos and thier componts
-
but the problem seems to be that the bov is opening at cruz is that normal
-
atmosphere but isn,t that suppose to be only a problem at idle

i just got my intercooler and bov installed they are off a 02 wrx and my car is a 87 gl-10. it all works great if your acelerating or decelerating. but if your trying to just cruz the bov opens up and the car loses power and starts jerking. pleese help cuz it sucks. on another note the power the intercooler added was awsome hills that i used to have to shift down for i can acelerate up now. also there is a strecth of road that i always see how fast i can get before the rr tracks. top speed used to be 65 with the intercooler i hit 75 could of problly hit 80 to 85 but cuz of the corner on the stretch of road i got scared and backed off. but dang it is awsome

Compatibility question--EA81 GL vs. DL
stngllhm replied to edrach's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
not quite the same put the digital dash on my 84 gl went bad and i swaped it out with an analog from a 83 dl i had to swap the wiring harness under the dash out to do it magor pain. but it was the only way i could get a car and when your 16 and live out of town a car is important. ok ok back to the subject i belive if both are analog you should be ok. but something to keep in mind if one has a oil presure gauge and the other a light you need to swap out the sending unit as well. hope the info is helpful -
i would say around $200 would ba about right i picked up a 91 loyale running very clean body and interior engine was a little rough for $300
