  1. Depends on temperature and such. It would be a cheap thing to try.
  2. Its possible its just the strut but you need to inspect it to be sure. It could be a crack in a spring or something too. Obvious during dis assembly.
  3. Many of us ship parts all over the world. Mick (link above is my fellow admin McBrat's website and he does an awesome job on decals and stickers).
  4. Its often cork but I would use the Fuji Bond from the dealer in place of it.
  5. It doesnt matter if they removed the knuckle even. As long as they don't remove the lateral links that connect to the rear crossmember it won't change anything. Short answer: No alignment needed.
  6. Oil won't fix it or even touch the problem if its a manual transmission. Auto's you can try "Trans X" which is sold at parts stores but I doubt this will solve anything its about 20% success rate in my experiences. Removing the driveshafts won't work on many levels. The coupler is in the back of the transmission and can be changed out in the car without removing the whole transmission. Its about $700 US in parts last I checked. I can order and ship the parts to you if you can't get them locally.
  7. Does it click when you try the start position? I would bet you need a battery or terminal on the positive is corroded.
  8. $204.01 plus 12.95 USPS shipping priority mail flat rate box. Paypal, credit card, or money order accepted. This kit works on 90-96 2.2L engines.
  9. Give me a chance to match their kits. All of my stuff is OEM. Website link below.
  10. Loose steering rack. Bad ball joint Axle nut loose Brake caliper loose lower control arm bushings Check warranty history and carfax maybe its been in a minor accident.
  11. Cant find the info on it either. Going to need to find an actual vehicle or seller of one to verify this I think. My gut says 2 3 point and 1 lap rear. I dont think the center 3 point starts till around 2005.
  12. My 2009 WRX is available in Colorado. Ad in the marketplace here.
  13. The handle or the cables? If handle specify what color handle.
  14. Welcome! That's a nice looking machine and pulls the camper well I bet!
  15. Usually those come on cars with smaller rotors and caliper brackets. I would bet you run into something not clearing but by all means try it.
  16. I like how that one is assembled wrong but easily changed. Thats the kind I use on all Subaru heads and it works great.
  17. The 96 has different torque for the end caps than the 97-99 one does so lets not confuse the matter there. The end caps are a lower torque than the center ones without the thrust control surface/groove. The haynes will get you in trouble its pretty awful about having the torque specs correct as it doesnt know the differences in years many of the times.
  18. Welcome. You have some reading to do in the OffRoad and Old Gen forums. Essentially there isn't a whole lot you can do on the camber without converting to different hubs or a major surgery basically.
  19. Theres a shaft the length of the main trans case that slides into the inside of the torque converter. If that stays with the converter pull the converter out far enough (6-8") and the larger 2" piece that clips to the converter will be cleared and you can grab the smaller shaft and hold it from coming out. If this shaft comes out its no big deal, just push it back into the transmission, and pull the converter away with its piece thats clipped to it. I can upload a photo to clarify if needed. PM me.
  20. Just keep an eye on it when you first start it up and first put it in gear a few times. If its going to leak its probably going to pour out. For the piece of mind just replace the seal its cheap insurance.
  21. If you put power to the wiper pump and it sprays, and if you check for volts and ground at the plug to the pump and that is bad start tracing back. I too bet its the clock spring but you need to find a wiring diagram for the year of car and verify more before dropping the money on it.
  22. The dealer doesn't try to sell the idlers because they are so expensive. $90 for one bearing is very common pricing with the markup.
  23. Locking thread. You know its not safe. Don't risk the lives of other people or your own with this idea. Fix it before towing it or have it towed by a tow truck.
  24. Do you have any trips to Denver planned? I could provide a rebuilt or a used one.
