  1. Welcome to the board. There are a bunch of members near you. Contact them if you have further problems. Good people.
  2. Welcome to the board. There are some great people on the board from Texas. See if any are local.
  3. Eric, did you ever figure out the problem? Or did it just "fix itself"? (i.e. stupid thing won't repeat the problem until you're in a hurry to get somewhere...)
  4. Eric, I'd look at the temperature problem. Snowman put a weber on Roxanne up here and ended up taking it off and going to spfi after a couple of months because the weber kept freezing up in the cold. I'm by no means an expert, but diagnosing that problem is pretty inexpensive. Good luck with it, and happy Thanksgiving.
  5. Mick, was that you in the white Jeep without the hood, or just a clip you found? Either way, you're right: that could have been much worse.
  6. Zap, sorry to hear of your mishap.Hope everybody is all right.
  7. The trouble is, apparently, not a lubrication problem. It may be, as someone noted, a sloenoid issue. Has anyone experienced this also? If so, how difficult is the fix?
  8. 1995 Legacy sedan Automatic gear shift button is reluctant to depress when cold. After it is warm, it shifts as it should. Any ideas other than parking inside full time?
  9. When is Lanor Day? Is that a holiday I should be getting off? Is big brother ripping me off again?
  10. Good deal on the oil - Fram filters, in my opinion, are junk.
  11. I've still got the 14" pugs with really good studded snows already mounted. Shoot me a PM or give me a call.
  12. Hey, I don't see those bed headrests.
  13. I guess it would depend on the year and model of wagon. If it's rubber set (in a gasket) and you don't care about the gasket, cut the rubber away from the pinchweld. If it's set in urethane, use a propane torch to heat the blade of a windshield knife and cut it out like that. If you don't have any "specialty" tools, a good fillet knife from inside, slid parallel to the glass is as good as any. Be careful of inside trim with this method.
  14. Welcome to the board. Tool around and learn. There's a lot here.
  15. Herculiner bed liner works great.
  16. I won't be there, but HBD anyway, Eric.
  17. I figured about $1,000 in gas for round trip for me, and still might have, but we're too busy at work to get the week and a half off to make the trip. It would have been fun, though.
  18. Lots of great vehicle pics. Thanks. I'd also be interested in seeing photos of the people there. Maybe some of them have gotten as bald as me.
  19. Stay dry and have a good time. I am envious.
