  1. I couldn't help but notice a HUGE BIG STICKY AT THE TOP OF THE PAGE ABOUT THIS Just so you know That was sarcastic i'm only kidding, but really, check the sticky.
  2. Has anyone ever ran a subie engine on a test stand? I'm thinking that it would be easier to get the EA-81 franken motor running better and not pissing oil if i had better acess to its parts. My only worry would be to start it, i'm sure with spacers i could mount the starter, that and the exhaust, it would be loud with just the header

  4. I think the paint would make it really "ozified"
  5. Ed, the paint scheme, not the car. Subarally, you are correct, i'm thinking last of the flat 4 interceptors.
  6. 1, there are two motor mounts, plus the dog bone on top 2 if you are talking about the two that hold the engine to the tranny, i always use a 14mm ratcheting wrench, works like a charm 3 Turbone is right 4 Turbone, right again
  7. Please explain Rego to us yanks
  8. I'm sure if miles saw your comment he would be insulted
  9. Extra points if you know where its from
  10. that, in my opinion, is the brake lockout switch for the shifter, you have a auto tranny right? it makes it so you can't put it in gear without your foot on the brake first
  11. For 400 dollars you might be able to get the paint and tape covered at a good shop. If you are only going to spend 400 do it yourself for 50, cause unless you spend about 1500-2000 you won't get a good long lasting paint job.
  12. On a flow bench, without an air filter, or a bottom, the top airbox, maf, hose, tb and intake will only flow 3 cfm better than if its stock. which if you're getting 100% VE, thats 1 hp.

Are they subie struts with extensions, cause the travel on a stock stut is the same whether its got 6 inches below the perch or 10.
  14. I'm flying out from Michigan. I believe we got some Alaskan's flying in too, although they might be driving. Its do-able.

86-89? accord hatchback front springs will work in the rear, give you about an inch or two.
  16. basically he probably just put the 134a in the R-12 system, which means that if the R-12 leaked out the 134a will too, but faster, because its a smaller molecule, because it was only 64 bucks, that leads me to believe he just put the adapter valves on and didn't infact change the O-rings and rubber hoses. my bet is by august you will be warm again. just my .02
  17. those are some fine XT-6's
  18. Might i reccomend not leaving valuables in your car?
  19. For what its worth, i should be taking around 400-800 high res pics at the show, that should give us enough to pick and choose for what magazines we can send pics to.
  20. In OZ the've taken the real low range, 1.52 and put it into an RX tranny, you do have the 3.7 which is less effective than the 3.9, but you have a better low range, I plan on doing this eventually, i'll have a write up about it,
  21. If the airbag is located on top of the dash, which i assume it is, it is made to interface with the windshield and bounce off it towards the occupant. the airbag did not make that hole.
  22. My dealership has them, Hodges in Detroit, i'm sure i can get some from them and ship them all over, ifn' people want them.
  23. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=32884&highlight=dl+gl+differences http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=28773&highlight=dl+gl+differences Its been talked about before in more detail, those threads should answer your questions as far as standing for anything, i believe that the common belief is that GL stands for Gots lots, and DL stands for Didn't Leave S**T but an AM radio
  24. make sure to take it to a shop and have them remove the air in the system, it will never perform to your expectations if you just put in the refrigerant without taking out the air in the lines.
  25. But is the wrist pin diameter and height the same?
