  1. Had a couple of friends flip their WRX at 70 mph while hooning around in an industrial park, hit a curb, tree and barely missed a building. They walked away unscathed, not even bruised. After that I bought my first Subaru, gradually phasing out my Hondas now. Glad your daughter is okay.
  2. This too should be stickied or put in the FAQs
  3. Wanna trade for a CRX? Rust free, doesnt leak a drop of oil, daily driven. I can return it to stock as well if you would prefer, I have all the OEM parts.
  4. ^This. So you have to mcguyver some stuff together. I used XT struts on stock springs up front and NB Miata coilovers in back, sits pretty good. Might toss in some coilovers in front though.
  5. Cuz ebay coilovers ride like crap but it works. not gonna lie it makes up for the Sh*t status rear sway bar I've got.
  6. yes but you have to use the strut mount from the subaru and the spring needs to fit in the strut mount
  7. Also I feel like the side hood vents off a 1st gen civic would look like the business on that.
  8. That looks great, imo I would get a skinnier front bumper instead of no bumper but it looks great. Take some pics without so much glare from the sun and I'll make it one of my desktops at work! tenouttaten!
  9. August 9th, 2014 Rosland Park Edina, MN 4300 W 66th St, Edina, MN 55435 What: This meet is open to anyone in the group, feel free to bring friends and family along. This is being held in conjunction with Japanese Nostalgic Car and is open to anyone with a classic Japanese car or interest in classic Japanese cars. We are trying to grow the community here by intermingling between each other and meeting other people with classic Japanese cars, hard to believe that Legacys and SVXs are considered that. Officially a Japanese Nostalgic Car is any Japanese car made 25 years ago, for this purpose it is anything made prior to 1994, so feel free to come visit and show off your classic Japanese machine. Any car will be accepted but if the lot gets overfilled and you have a newer car you will be asked to make room for cars that qualify for collector plates in the state of MN (20 years or older). Location: The meet will be held at the back lot of Rosland park in Edina, Minnesota on Saturday, August, 9th. The meet will officially start at 11 am and end around 4 pm, there are grills for people to grill food, feel free to bring drinks and snacks. This is the same park as the Edina aquatic center, we are meeting in the back lot which is large enough to support 30 cars or so. There is also parking on the street near by and in the main lot, however I doubt it will get that busy. As this is a public park and will be open to the public please arrive on time or even early to guarantee a spot. Please set a good example of how car enthusiasts act, that being said... Now time for the rules: -THERE WILL BE ABSOLUTELY 100% NO TOLERANCE FOR HOONING, REVVING OR BURN OUTS. You will be removed from the event and the Minnesota EF Owners Club if you are a member, If you are on JNC or USMB I will ask the mods to block you. -Listen to the Admins of the show(the list will be growing soon). If we tell you not to do something don't make us tell you again. -No loud music, Edina is known as being nazis about this kind of thing, please set a good example of how car enthusiasts act. -Be respectful. Acting like a jack rump roast will get you kicked out in a hurry. I feel like I don't need to list off what disrespectful activity is but the short list is: parking like an idiot, being rude to others, leaving trash around, etc. -Have fun. This is an event to instigate comradery in our community and bring together people who wouldn't normally talk to each other. Please feel free the comment or PM me about this meet if you have questions. Below in a link to the Facebook event page https://www.facebook.com/events/797013693672574/?ref=notif&notif_t=plan_user_joined
  10. btw for the center caps I choose F, as it is the most period correct. MN is like an ancient indian burial ground for miscellaneous subaru parts, you'll never find a complete car but you'll find a farmer with a EA82 he has been using to pull around his generator or some old subaru parts at a swap meet.
  11. Dont suppose you forgot to list a steering wheel that you have?
  12. Or a Honda beat with a 1L boxer. Honda does best with small engines, anything under 2.0L is their territory. So like a Kei sized car with a boxer in the middle and rwd would be the business.
  13. AAw man don't lift it! I live in MN with a lowered CRX, our roads kind of look like the roads from Escape from New York, it works fine.
  14. High roof! Nice, very jealous! I would lower it, copiously.
  15. Dont bother with andysautosport. I've yet to hear a good thing about them.
  16. I mean it would be more true to the original AE86 but it also would be a collaboration with BMW which I would not be a fan of. Maybe Subaru and Honda should get together and make the perfect automobile?
  17. I'm running open dp at the moment. Making a custom dp at work too. Then I'm gonna run a 2.5 or 3" exhaust through a porter muffler to a takeyari pipe.
  18. I would look into an EJ18 or EJ22 swap from a 90s era impreza. it might be more economical.
  19. Try the grease fix, I have heard of this happening a LOT
  20. I feel like it should be able to run fine without putting a surge tank in
  21. These engine bays are so fresh looking. I cant wait to wire tuck my engine...
  22. Mine is pretty rough looking, I was going to look into making a hardlined one but if I can find an OEM one that isn't brittle and hard I would go for that too. Yeah, I could talk to the boss and see what we can do about that, I'm not even sure if we will even sell it yet. I was thinking a short run or something idk yet. But as far as the fuel pump goes, it could be that, The car is open downpipe so I cant hear the pump all that well but its damn near 30 years old so tbh I would be surprised if it wasn't on its last legs.
