well, i fixed the mounting points on the strut hats (they were super thin) but i dont think im going to be able to fix the camber problem without building completely new top hats. they seem like they are at a pretty good angle (~17) but i guess its not enough. anyway, since im extremely poor right now and cant afford new shocks of the right length, i just made extensions for the original shocks (they are still good) out of a nut, some rebar, and a bolt. we'll see if that works haha

so today i actually got some work done! both new front axles are now installed, brakes are back on, rotors are back on and struts are back in. i also decided i had better brace the rear suspension, so i took both front torsion bar blocks off and braced them together, now both torsion bars stay still when you articulate the rear suspension. dont make fun of my welds, i figured its better to do too much welding than too little. i tested the welds thoroughly and couldn't break them, so i think they are good. (smashing on them with a 3lb sledge) let me tell you, that was not fun to re-install, i had to get pry bars and shim blocks and lots of patience to get it back in there. i will brace the other 4 blocks to these two when i take it down to my buddy's shop, i dont have a welder near the brat right now, had to take the blocks inside the school shop to weld on them. and for all you nit-pickers, i WILL be fixing the front camber tomorrow so SHUT UP about it haha.- Nick's 94 Loyale build
