  1. Same guys, they do a lot of cool stuff
  2. thanks haha my chevy has the 4l80e, so its better! skinny, they are the rear shocks, the front shocks and springs are on assembly or "strut"
  3. thats very true! good advice its partly my fault, i will admit, i just cant seem to let it go... which is weird, because in real life im extremely easygoing. online though... idk its just different! but anyway, FULL STEAM AHEAD ON THE BRAT! started on the spacers today, cut the aluminum with an electric hack saw, took FOREVER and couldn't quite get it to cut perfectly straight, but there is less than 1/16th of a difference, so no big deal, just throw them on the lathe and surface them so they are perfect now just to find someone with a big enough lathe...
  4. Alright... Thanks guys. Just when people are calling for me to be banned its discouraging, but let them hate i guess yeah i could probably do a little more thinking... Tbh though i always have pretty unpopular opinions! Just gotta not voice my opinion i spose
  5. i believe... now dont quote me here... that the 5 speed is a stronger tranny?
  6. haha not that i have any money, but how big a pile of cash are talking about?
  7. little birthday present to myself, new shocks! new ball joints and tie rod ends are next, waiting for my aluminum to ship so i can build wheel spacers! shocks were the absolute perfect length at full down travel on the suspension they are at full extension. managed to use the stock mounting locations, just barely touches the bump-stop at full extension. such a better ride all around, less rubbing, less torque-steer, less wander. once i get the ball joints and tie rod ends on, it should be solid and ready to go.
  8. okay last one... sorry sorry... and VaporTrail, this is that lift kit you sold me
  9. Get a spare and weld it up, then you can just swap them out when you get to the trail
  10. *drumroll* the final results of the POR15! this stuff is fantastic! only minor complaint i have, is each coat takes 24 hours to dry. but it sure looks nice when its done! and yes, it is completely dry in these pictures, its just THAT glossy!
  11. hope you didnt pay much for it in any case though, it will be a good project! anyway i will stop cluttering
