New RX stickers? Where to get..
I can make 'em in Gold for you (or any other color for that matter. I already have 3 different designs (ea81 RX, ea82 RX w/part time 4wd, and ful time 4wd RX). if you send me pics of exactly which ones you have, and the true dimensions you want the decals, I can make them.

Sticker on inside driver's door (when they were new)?
this is one that is on my dad's 83 wagon....
-
solid motor mounts
that sounds about the same as mine. I do notice a bit of a vibration at speed, but with not being able to hear anything over the road noise from the tires, and the exhaust, it all works together

replacing heater core Q's
so how was the heat after running it through the AC core?

smells bad...
I had a smell like that, and it ended up being a badwater pump. it was leaking enough that it'd run down and hit the exhaust, and burn off. check the weep hole on the bottom to see if it looks like coolant coming out.

front strut isn't bolted?
very dangerous. you need a new one of these: http://www.partsamerica.com/PartDetails.asp?SourceArea=&SourcePage=SEARCHRESULTS&MfrCode=MON&MfrPartNumber=902931&PartType=1352&PTSet=A

BOB trannyectomy successful, BRAT in recovery.
well, there will be at a minimum 18 bolts that get replaced with longer ones. you'll need the following blocks: Front: (2 blocks, 4 bolts) engine crossmember blocks. one long block each side where the crossmember mounts to the frame rails (6 blocks, 6 bolts) radius rod blocks. 3 each side. where the plates that hold the swaybar/tranny crossmsmber attach to the body (2 blocks) Strut block tops. new top bolts need to be offset to push in the struts at the top... steering extension. unbolt the "T" piece, cut, extend 2", weld tube around the bar. (4 blocks, 4 bolts) torsion bar. 2 blocks each side. (2 blocks, 4 bolts) diff hanger blocks. 1 block each side. shock extensions. original BYB kit came with a bottom extension, which worked fine unless you were carrying a LOT of weight. they never broke, but pivoted under the weight. the most expensive part will be getting the proper metric bolts in the longer size. also need to make sure the angle on the strut top is correct. might need to try a couple different times on that one to get the proper angle for your camber. or you can get a kit from PK at http://www.ozified.com

Got amps? GM Alternators! (pics and part#'s added)
lots of people have put on the XT6 alternator, which is rated at 90 amps, with no problems. (though they don't like mud much ) I think the xt6 alt swap is in the USRM..... (see link above)

junkyard run today....
I found a ea82 3dr that had solid front rotors.... not much left in the yard for soobies. only one ea81 - a 83 wagon that I already got the disty and rear lift supports one ea82 wagon. blue interior. got the glove box lock and rear gate lock from it, plus a right rear tail light. a couple ea82 sedans and about 5 ea82 3drs. got me a nice grill
- Lift?

the rear main seal is behind the flywheel. you may want to have it resurfaced as well. once you take off the flywheel you will see the seal, along with a smaller "O-ring" flat rubber seal. (I've never found a replacement for the flat rubber seal). for the front crank seal, you have to take off the front pulley to get at it.... do you have the "How to keep your subaru alive" book? if not, email me...

I would do the rear main seal as long as you have it out. and front crank seal as those seem to start leaking often.
