  1. everything at my house runs and drives city can't do anything
  2. no, the AC does not work, but it's all there.... when I first looked at the dash, it seemed "wrong" until I realized it had AC....
  3. He wants to know if this can be his second car since his first will be the '86 Brat it's kind of weird to see him taller than a vehicle...
  4. the 35's will work just fine I got my new fuel cell the other day too... a RCI 2171A
  5. I've done 'em both ways, and I'd rather do 5 by pulling the engine than one by dropping the tranny...
  6. I don't think they will fit. the older model 504 was a bigger car. the 604 was a limo type car. and the most common 505 is a good sized car too...
  7. as before, this will be a street vehicle as well, as it'll be somewhat of a daily driver as well.... especially while it still has the BFG ATs on it... and I like to wash it off regularly too
  8. well..... a lot stock wheel = 13x5.5 4.75" backspacing new wheel = 17x9 4" backspacing.
  9. +1 those look like the smaller pattern of the 405 model. you need to find wheels for a 505, 504, or 604 (most common to least common). in 10 years, I've only seen 3 pugs in the DSM area. a 505 driving with a set of 15" recessed spoke alloys, and 2 in junkyards. a 505 with 14" alloys (they were crushed) and a early 70's 504 with steels. (washer centering type). I grabbed these and sold them....
  10. I was actually trying to get a set of those in white, but they can't do the backspacing I need on that style....
  11. this is most likely what my new wheels are gonna be since I can't find white spokes in the size I need... But I can get these in white as well.... what do you think....?
  12. 4 of my new wheels for my Red Brat will weigh 160 lbs!
  13. I had one of the "turbo" blower heaters (propane) and I've not used it since I went to a convection style heater ... http://www.ag-trac.com/BTUReddyHeater.jpg I needed my garage for doing some large quantity woodwork finishing in the winter, but couldn't have the massive air movement of the blower style. I got one probably larger than needed for my garage, but I love it. I had it up to almost 90 deg in there
  14. no beans to spill. I happened to take a look at my NOS short block and discovered the spot of rust. only 1 cyl has it. still contemplating selling. just the short block as it sits though...
  15. which end of your road? asI recall, if right of your house, it's slightly up hill, so if you were pointing toward your house, you mightbe able to put the Brat in 2nd gear, and use short bursts of the starter motor to roll it a bit.... saw a guy do that to get him self out of a water pit at WCSS3 after the engine died...
  16. right you are! for the sammy t-case with a toy flange on the back for the toy driveshafts....
  17. the t-case mounts, or the tube embedded into the stock frame rails?
  18. from here... http://www.rrr4x4.com/Jayson.html
  19. WooHoo. more pics.... New Exhaust Stack Baby!!! New Engine Crossmember Time for a new front frame rail to support the Toyota steering box. The oil pan will need notched to clear the tie rod. More shots of the 4-link rear, with more welding done... 3 Link front, upper link New Wheel Spacers T-case is mounted now... Test Fitting with a Q78-15 Superswamper (35.5" diameter)
