You only really need to replace the drier if your compressor decided to self destruct or it has been opened to the air for ages, as the drier also acts a filter and would catch all the metal. I would call around about having the hoses made for less then what the dealers cost.

5W-30.Still do a first Oil change after break-in. In my 2005 I use 10w-40. The engien war replaced over a year ago with a Subaru rebuild. Check the oil regularly do not be alarmed if it uses some for the first 5K miles. I change mine every 5K miles as it is just easier to remember. The 0W oil is very expensive.

I use WIX or Mobil One filters and change them every 5000 K (math is hard multiples of 5 easy). I don't like Fram filters. Ask yourself do you want to drive the car till the doors fall off, then it pays to go to a better filter, if not, factory is fine.

If you want better MPG, get a 2wd car. Otherwise you pay the penalty for AWD (and the best mileage for an AWD car)

Unless you need a car now, I would wait a bit. Oil consumption is actually a problem on a lot of new cars, not just subaru. Subaru may have changed the ring spec as 2015 owners arent reporting unusual oil consumption ..... yet.

I was told the same thing, I went to another shop and they got the bolts loose. I think its just a matter of how stubborn the mechanic is working on the car. Some wont be beaten by a couple of lousy bolts.

Well revving in neutral the car and turbo wont be under load. Under load the turbo is doing the most work.

Nope just standard old fashioned light bulbs. They do dim with age. the glass gets foggy, contact corrode. Now if i can replace the bulbs in the switches and heater panel.

The Justys dash was dim. I replaced all the dash bulbs. They were all working but were foggy or discolored. Now its a nice bright dashboard again.

Wont be a fair comparison unless you have a left, engine/transmission jack, extra hands, all the tools
