What do you mean becoming, violence is as much a part of america as apple pie .I am not trying to advocate it but if you think its bad here try living somewhere else lets say isreal. go to the gaza strip for a couple of weeks and you will return with a much deeper appreciation of what we have here. Yes pick your middle eastern country. http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/uk/article568214.ece You think we are bad, go move to scotland. England and wales were second. (2005 is the latest data). nipper

That wont work. They look for the light to come on at start. California is an entirely new ballgame when it comes to emissions, they actually have referees. I am amazed its not a contact sport. nipper -

I'm not sure what your asking. The car when all is well in its life is 90% front and 10% rear (legacy/outback auto). The computer determins when it needs 37/53 so i can not tell you when it determins this exactly, but it does. Under full throttle, Dirve low and reverse you get a forced 50/50 split. To explain when what happens and why I would leed a g meter, and an oscilliscope, so unless someone is sending me some new toys ..... nipper -

Whats there to settle? Auros are constantly variable computer controlled split form 10/90 to 50/50 Or on newer ones 45/55 (i think). www.cars101.com. Yours in an imprezza so it may be differnt. -

By all means. Do you have the heat riser tube attached to the air cleaner snorkle? -
16 flashes basically means HEY LOOK AT ME! It flashes to tell you there was a fault in the tranny the last time you used the car. Beyond that you have to do the magic to read the code. Its fairly simple. Do a search on torque bind code and it should come up. The fuse may not help you, as odds are that you have a failed Duty C solenoid. Also at that mileage may pay to rebuild the clutchpack, especially since the car has been like this for 2 years. nipper

Not all codes are saved, especially if it clears itself up. nipper -

go to the yahoo list for vanagon conversions. They have extensive expierience and a library on how to get around this. nipper -
I dont see a PCV valve anywhere. Also get yourself a new radiator cap. Its cheap enough for a little extra insurance. Wiper blades? I took Blu on a 10,000 mile trip and aside from blowing an engine (i know minor details) i didnt have a single problem. Blown engine was due to previous owner loving once a year oil changes. You will be fine. Just dont use the cruise control in very hilly areas, and if you find the car shfiting in and out of 4th gear alot just leave it in drive 3. nipper

On any subaru you look for Torque bind. In the autos there a few things that can be tried to fix it, but if its on a manual, it needs a new center diff. Make sure all the tires match on the car, and that they have the same amount of wear. nipper -
Typo, i meant as it is not a porn site... Though there are some naked engine pics. nipper

i am sorry. If there is an employees manual, look and see what it says there. If it doesnt say anything about internet usage, then they have a problem. Apply for unemployment and let them fight it. Be honest in the explination. As it is a porn site, and no one was warned ahead of time, it probably wont stand up. It sounds like they were looking for a way to lay off people and circumnavigate the notification laws (if any). good luck. nipper

lets be clear , automatics constantly vary the torque split from 90/10 to 50/50 (or 45/55 on the newere ones). Gas mileage is about the same in the real world, and if they are both taken care of they last the life of the car. nipper -
Stupid ? about Radiator/Overfill Tank
nipper replied to cole098's topic in Non Soob Cars and Bikes Discussion
well im taking 1 cent away. Barrs (only thing i'll use) has been on the market for eons with minimal issues. And stop leak needs temperiture, air exposure, and pressure to work. With none of those it just floats around. If its a seem leak, have you looked to see if you can crimp the seem? -
