  1. I would be interested in seeing pix of the 5 others. -Brian
  2. Good save, by editing your signature will I have a friend with a VF11 for sale. If it wasnt good, i was going to have it rebuilt. I figure its got to be better than the EA82 turbo and I dont want something as big as the TD04. Maybe i'll try to find a good EA82 turbo just to keep things simple. -Brian
  3. Here's one with Shelton, WA in it: SJ6 Had to move the text, cause I used the Subaru star to mark the location. -Brian
  4. Here we go.. Here's one basic Black & white: SJ3 here's a 2nd one, different position on the lettering: SJ4 And one in Color, just cuz SJ5 -Brian
  5. Now that i know what we're lookin for, i will do some work on my logo a bit. As far as T-Shirts, will this be going on mugs by chance? I could use a #7 to add to my #6. Do we want black & white, or can i experiment with colors as well? Eric: I avoid talking on my phone at all costs. Mostly because its a cellphone, but I preffer to type over talk any day (can go back and correct stupid things I say... 99% of which no one ever see's ) -Brian
  6. 3 guys at work told me (after i told them this story) that they used that can of "Guaranteed to pass" stuff, and it all worked for them. I could use that, but the car needs a tune-up real bad from sitting so long, so I think that will be the route I will take. -Brian
  7. Thanks for the clarification Will. Does anyone have a list of other turbos that will bolt to EA82T Headers? I dont mind getting a new downpipe and whatnot... but I would preffer to keep the stock EA82T up pipe. -Brian
  8. I remember that wagon on the front page. Is that you and your wagon? Saw you at the WCSS6 when you rolled in, then i remember seeing the car again in the horse corral. Looks like thats a pretty capable rig. I didnt notice any other cars on your page... how many people are running your lifts? You know... there are other 15" rims out there that you can use I wouldnt be doing too much off-roading with t-type rims. -Brian
  9. Im sure there is some sort of patent on the BYB lift and PK so far is the only one who has rights to copy it. I hope you didnt just remove that BYB kit and create a mock-up byb kit :\ I'll check out your page soon. -Brian
  10. Its been known as Subaru Show as long as I can remember. I kinda like the roman numerals. Maybe we can take a vote I need to add something Subaru to it though, its just letters right now. -Brian
  11. Nice, i didnt know the VF11 would bolt into a EA82T's up-pipe Now i know what turbo to get. I wonder if it will be too much turbo for the EA82. I want to have all this planned out and completed so I can decide what kind of exhaust to get as well. -Brian
  12. The owner wont touch the car. Thats why I had to take it for its smog test, he didnt want to. Im going to go back and do a compression test on the engine. If it passes all 4 cyl, i will give him $250 for it (maybe lie and say its leaking in cyl3 and offer him $100) This car is in an apt complex in the projects. The couple who own it... well... they're crackheads. I cant let the car stay there or it will be towed, i think i'll go back saturday and get it. If it doesnt pass... I'll leave it in their name and park it somewhere (just kidding of course) -Brian
  13. Im thinking since its only 16 over, it wont take much at all to get it to pass. Im going to let it sit with the current owners for a week, then call them and if its still available i will offer like $200 for the car (they want $650 currently). WHen its in my possession i'll tune it up. -Brian
  14. It DID idle smooth at 900rpm. Then after the smog tech parked it, and I got in it to drive away... i noticed the idle wouldnt go above 650rpm and it had a stumble in it. Like it was miss-firing on one cylinder or something. -Brian
  15. The smog tech was clueless when i asked what it could be. But it didnt fail by much. It passed everything at idle except for HG, and passed everything at 2500rpm (even passed HG at 2500rpm). I know we have a few smog techs and smog savy members, I'm hoping its something simple. Here are the results: TEST----RPM----HC (MAX)---HC (Measured)---CO (MAX)---CO (Measured) Idle:-----981-------120--------136(failed)-------1.00---------0.22 2500rpm------------150--------55---------------1.20---------0.29 The car has been sitting for a while. Im trying to get it to pass so I can buy it from the previous owners (who are absolutly NO Help at all). -Brian
  16. Thanks miles. Just what i needed to know I was thinking of adding a cooler to keep the fluid temps low, but the AT wont be in the car much longer -Brian
  17. Im sorry i said anything at all. There is no need to worry about anything. Please let this be a warning, if you use the USMB.net gallery. Utilize the message boards built in Gallery here http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/photos and backup anything you have on the old gallery. -Brian
  18. The only thing in Jepordy is the domain name http://www.ultimatesubaru.org The servers, board, and all the information contained are paid for by Shawn, and will still be around. This could happen anywhere from 3 months from now, or 2 years from now. I forgot when the domain name expires. -Brian
  19. its okay to be a noob. Im an AT Noob, and i wanted to hear from other's and their experiences with different types of fluid. -Brian
  20. USMB.net will be expiring soon. So will ultimatesubaru.org, and the webhosts I used (yes, I.. me, with my own money thank you) will not be around for me to renew their license. I will get in touch with Shawn to make sure the Message board is saved, but the Gallery and everything on USMB.net will eventually be lost. I warned the USMB about 3 months ago to backup their images because I was going to be shutting down the old gallery. The albums I deleted the other night were old albums that have not been updated in over a year. I will be deleting more and more as i find the time (have to do it all manually). It just so happens i have a backup of the gallery from a while ago. I can try to find your pictures and send them to you, but I cannot promise it in a timely manner. They are in a folder, among thousands of other folders and one of over 9GB of images that were stored on the server. -Brian
  21. Yeah, and if I use the pushrods from the non-hydro engine, i dont see how the pushrods will know. I cant wait to get started. Im waiting for the owner of the 84 to get it smogged. If it fails, I'll be at ground zero. Im crossing my fingers. -Brian
  22. Jeff, no worries mate That info is exactly what i was looking for. If I put a non-hydro block with hydro heads... what can I expect to go wrong? -Brian
  23. Ken, what is a surefire way of knowing wether or not my EA81 Carbbed from my '84 is Hydro or not? -Brian
