  1. I just took it on its maiden voyage. It seems like it accelerates alot better. I took it to 5.5k without any hesitation at all. One trip around the block, and then i lifted the hood. The IC was nice and hot. So i know its doing its thing I let the car idle, and examined the hoses. I also revved the engine while holding one of the rubber elbow's. Yeh, this hose isnt going to do too good for long term. It will have to do for now, but I can feel the hose bulge... and i could even see it. Im kinda affraid to increase boost in fear of bursting a hose. We'll see... I will have to start shopping for some real pipe now. Without the Bypass valve, i hear a ton of fluttering in my intake. Like its comming from the air filter but im sure its the turbo'd air not being able to escape. -Brian
  2. Yeah, looks like ALOT Of pipe for a EA82T. Looks cool, get some pix of it on the car. -Brian
  3. I too thought it was a camry... but upon closer look it does look to be a EA82 of some sort. -Brian
  4. Opinions??? You think too much! -Brian
  5. I hope this hose I used works out. Its not as stiff as I'd like it to be, but i thought to myself "it only has to hold up to 11psi max" at the store, so I bought it. I cant seem to get the IC any closer to the throttlebody right now, not unless I find a better pipe from the Turbo to IC. The setup I have right now, is as compact as I can get it... and thats whats keeping the IC so far back. Right now i just plumbed for my BPV and whatever hose came off the plentum. Dr.Krazy... do you have any closeup pix of your BPV installed? I Plan on installing it where yours is, but havent come up with a way to connect it to that part of my intake. -Brian
  6. Thanks guys. It will be sitting like this for a while until I get some better pipe made up. I do have a boost gauge, and After I run the IC for a week or so, i will make a MBC to increase pressure. Patrick, i used to frequent LegacyCentral, but I cant keep up with it anylonger. Ive dumped all the other boards and primarily focus on the USMB. I just made brackets for everything, and its snug as a slug in a rug... and the I/C aint going anywhere. Tiny... yes, but better than nothing -Brian
  7. New PiX: I have to plumb a few things, and create brackets to mount it... then it will be complete. -Brian
  8. Okay, here's what i got... (2) 90 degree elbows. Both are rubber, and have a 2 3/8" Inner Diameter, with a 2" bend. I got some 2 3/8" PVC pipe, and a 2 3/8" to 1 7/8" reducer (for the turbo). So far, everything attatches to the Intercooler without a problem. I just hope things hook to the car as easily. Pictures: Soon i'll have pix of it inside the car. -Brian
  9. Thanks J. Im going to Home Depot to get some stuff -Brian
  10. I remember driving my 86 Brat with no front CV. In the rain it was ALOT of fun Got the file to download... 40% done now. -Brian
  11. I need to know what diameter the TB is for a EA82T (non spider intake). I am about to do my Intercooler, and I want to goto Home Depot to buy some PVC for the job. Can anyone who has done the job tell me what size pipe was involved? -Brian
  12. i cant seem to download the movie. Everytime I click the link, i get server error problems. :| -Brian
  13. Skip. My RX needs one of dem too. Let us know if your in business to sell one. I may need mine welded for a VF11. As far as running a seperate muffler, i dont see how it would be any more benefitial than something like Skip has there. Maybe increase the pipe to 2.75 or 3" where the two meet. If you were going to run 1.75" from the wastegate, then I would look for a small muffler from a lawnmower or maybe contact FHI and get a muffler from their Robin Generators. -Brian
  14. I enjoy the long drive as well. Hell, i'd do it every week if I had the time & money. The blue state and yellow font looks real nice. I may have to do some coloring on one of my B&W versions. -Brian
  15. I made the text alittle smaller to fit inside the State alittle better: SJ7 And here is a Black & White version: SJ8 and then here's another with the star behind the WCSS. SJ9 Sorry, there's no practical way for me to remove the map lables for the colored version. -Brian
  16. 18.9 in the RX right now -Brian
  17. I guess my valve float is around 4700-5000rpm -Brian
  18. Me and some of the locals have already thought about having a WCSS here. Most likely in Northern Cali, north of Redding or the redding area. Zap, i can do alittle more work but I gotta find the time. I Have to get ready for a poker tourney tonight, so I wont have a logo done until tomorrow at the earliest. -Brian
  19. Looks great Eric. Im glad Kumho decided to start making those tires again. -Brian
  20. Well, whats in my signature is what is done. I have ALOT of toys in the garage for both cars. Things for the RX that have yet to be installed: Saab 900 Intercooler Saab 900 B.P.V Things for my WAgon that were waiting installation: (3) Electric Air Pumps, wired and plumbed to run a single line to an air tank. I have set no deadlines, because anyone who knows me well... knows im a huge procrastinator. I'd like to have my Intercooler installed before the WCSS, but if I end up getting another wagon I will want to have a new lifted rig for the Show... if I keep up the pace im at now, i will have neither done -Brian
  21. whats CD ignition? A good coil is definatly something I need to look into. ANd where are you buying 10mm spark plug wires? Wouldnt mind some of those either. -Brian
  22. This thread has made me realize just how badly I want a new header... and a new turbo... oh... and then I can install my IC -Brian
  23. Wouldnt miss it for the world. Expecially when the boss okay's the days off So... what about these logos? Anything you guys think need to be adjusted? -Brian
  24. I have to put my lift kit in a EA81 wagon that has power steering. The problem is my wagon that is lifted has manual steering. Whats the difference between the two, and can I modify my current steering extension or will i need to replace it? -Brian
  25. I cant wait either... 724 miles for me, each way... but it will be worth the drive. -Brian
