  1. Yeah, im not too concerned about blowing a pipe off right now. It seems to be doing better than the prev setup, but the pipes are getting hot and i can tell the IC is heatsoaked I'm going to have to cut a hole in my hood ASAP. I went to my work and had the BPV bung welded to the intake so its not leaking anymore. Looks 100x better than the duct tape I was using. -Brian
  2. Hey Jay... i happen to have one extra elbow that is 2 3/8" in diameter. I used this for my intake plentum and it worked perfectly. It may help with your install if you would like it. Here's what my finished product looks like: here it is installed: PM me if you'd like it, i dont think I'll use this extra piece. -Brian
  3. What size tires are you running? Im thinking about doing this to my RX but I dont want my tires to rub. -Brian
  4. Ok... here it is. Intercool install version 2.0: I paid $40 for two Mandrel U Bends of 2 3/8" O.D. Stainless Steel. Then Cut them in half to make four 90 degree elbows. I paid $39 for three 2 3/8 I.D. Silicone couplers, and used some spare pipe i had for the BPV bung. All in all, everything went smoothly and without any problems. I cut the air baffler or whatever it is... hanging off my intake. I shortened it to make more room for my BPV and it helped alittle with the routing of my hoses. Im going to take the pieces into my work, and have our head mechanic lay a bead of weld around the ends of the pipe, to help keep them from blowing apart. I'll also have him weld my intake so the BPV Bung doesnt leak. This outa do better than the cheap rubber elbows and PVC i was using before. -Brian
  5. Got my mandrel bent 2.37" Stainless Steel yesterday, and today I got my Silicone couplers for the final Intercooler Install http://www.turbohoses.com was fast! I ordered the couplers yesterday... recieved them this morning. I'll have pix soon.... -Brian

  10. I Believe some people who use EJ20's and EJ22's on their aircraft have carburator conversions available. Might want to search for some aircraft EJ22's. -Brian
  11. You have full permission to alter and use any of the images I created for the WCSS. -Brian
  12. E!!!!! Glad to see you guys made it. Jessica= Pull up a chair and stick around a bit. -Brian
  13. Ok, so this bolt in there wont mess with anything? I have no more AC, so my idle shouldnt really need adjustment. -Brian
  14. Richie, i would have driven it to you for alot less than $800. Just pay for my return flight Im suprised to see it went for $3550. Thats not a bad price at all. -Brian
  15. Today I came home, and my car would hardly idle. I figured my intercooler hose had come apart again, so I opened the hood and sure enough it had. So I fixed that, but it still wouldnt idle. I checked all the hoses for my intercooler and BPV but everything was snug, i could hear a massive leak comming from somewhere so I started to feel around. I found the leak, its comming from something on the back of my intake manifold. Seems there was something screwed into this doohicky, or maybe a plug of some sort. I found a bolt with the same thread, used some teflon tape and plugged it back up. All this after I removed my intercooler. Now my RX is Intercooless -Brian
  16. I was taking pix of my car and got some closeups of the intercooler mounts I fabricated. Jesse James, step aside. Its solid, doesnt budge. You gotta love self taping screws -Brian
  17. Just letting him know from my experience. Chances are, your tires wont fit. But ken is right... only way to know for sure is to try it for yourself. -Brian
  18. yup, even 195/50R15's stick out about an inch. I think it looks more agressive that way, and I have room to drop the front another inch or so. 215/75's will NOT fit without a lift. I run 205/75R14's on my wagon with a 3" lift kit. I still had to trim alittle fender for it to fit. -Brian

  20. I got my boss pretty good today. I guess you'd have to be there for it to be funny. -Brian
  21. I got mine from the junkyard off a Saab 900, or maybe it was a 9000. It was small enough for the pocket, so needless to say... I didnt spend much at all for it. It works great for my small intercooler, not sure if you'd need something larger for your setup. I would definatly install something ASAP. I ran my Intercooler for a day before I installed my BPV and the difference is a world apart. -Brian
  22. this would have been alot better had Brad not said anything. I would have waited until tomorrow morning to fool everyone. It was a good one tho, i was about to ask for your rims -Brian
  23. I had that idea as well Garner. My friend had a Nissan Maxima with a HUD for its speedo. I dont think it would be too hard if thought out properly. Only thing I havent figured out is how to wire pressure sensors to a Intel Celeron 866 What year did The Fast & The Furious come out? Was that 2002 -Brian
