  1. He shipped it to my door for $30. Of course, thats from Oregon to California. He has a plan to make the racks as 2 piece racks, that will be assembled upon delivery and make it easier and cheaper to ship. More pictures soon. I have pix of it with its 1st coat of bedliner, but i havent gotten them on the computer yet. -Brian
  2. I'll make you a deal. PM me with the aprox amount of space you need. Looks like the gallery is taking alot of space, not sure how much I can spare. I'm not sure if I can hook you up with a FTP login either, im still trying to figure that out. They want a $35 setup fee in order to add another FTP user. -Brian
  3. Yeah, Tony made me a BITCHIN rack! Here's a pic of the rack after it was assembled and welded together. : I got the rack sent to me in one piece, un painted. Right now, its hanging in the garage with a coat of Herculiner (liquid bedliner) on it. I should have it finished and mounted by the end of this week. -Brian
  4. Considering a standard rear LSD will go for $300 on ebay with no trouble, $350 for a front diff isnt bad at all. -Brian
  5. Tony's tires look alot meaner than those Caleb. Goto Cooper Tires webpage, and search for a local dealer. I got Cooper Discoverer STT's in 205/75R14's for $77ea mounted. You'll have to call your local dealers by phone and search for the best price. most of the placed I called had 1 or 2 sets in the back of the shop, the shop i went with was glad to get rid of them cause they were collecting dust. -Brian
  6. Ive got some video ive shot that I will be editing in the near future (just another project I cant fund). Maybe we should pull our video together, and create a massive DVD compiled out of all of our video. "Subaru's around the world" or something -Brian
  7. Did you order the tires online, or did you call them? I called them a few months ago looking for the exact same tires. They told me there were 4 in their database, 3 were in reno, and one was on the west coast. And when i contacted Kumho for a listing of dealers, they told me they were phasing out the 14" tires. Anyhow, sounds like the car is 1/2 way there. -Brian
  8. Sounds great! And starts right up just like a Subaru should. Got any audio of it reved? When i wheelin with Adam, his ER27 pulled him through everything without a stumble. Definatly better than the carbbed 1.8 -Brian
  9. Whats the purpose of doubling up on gaskets? I say, lop a bunch of form-a-gasket on there... and call it good. -Brian
  10. Shannon... I dont think u'll be able to use the RX Front brakes on your EA81 GLW. -Brian
  11. I 'could' be in reno tomorrow. Havent made plans yet. PM me with your address and I can pull up a map. I can pm you or call you tomorrow and confirm if i'll be up there or not. -Brian
  12. Chances are coolant is getting from the water jacket in the manifold, and getting into your intake. double check all your gaskets. So the EA82 carb wouldnt run on a EA81? -Brian
  13. I would need a chunk 39"x12" I could come pick it up too... got plans for Tomorrow? -Brian
  14. Yeah Tim, your son was actually riding with him when he tipped his subaru (see picture attatched above). I remember when he did that, we were following behind him on the trail. And your son, tim, jumped out of the car with this HUGE grin on his face. Jason was laughing and having a great time. -Brian
  15. John. I need an address to send this CD. Just completed the CD, found a bunch of GREAT photo's of the trip. -Brian Others can be seen here.... http://usmb.net/gallery/albuo47
  16. Maybe im missunderstood. Is it stiff like Plexi-glass? I would like a piece to use as a wind deflector for my rack. -Brian
  17. John, i'll have them on a CD, and to your door asap. Not sure if it can get there before Wednesday, but i'll be at the post office tomorrow sending it 1st class (or whichevers fastest). I still cant believe it -Brian
  18. John, i am so sorry. I met him at WCSS and I wanted to see him again on my last trip through. Now I am saddend even more Make sure to let us know about that fund. I believe i have close to 150 pictures from the WCSS3, and even some hardcopy pictures that Dave gave to me. I will make sure you get the ones with Jason in them. :cornfuzz: -Brian
  19. This is the reason i got USMB.net and setup the gallery. Trooper, PM me if you want a gallery login, and you can link directly to the images you want to share. -Brian
  20. can you cut it into pieces? I might be interested in buying a chunk of it from you. -Brian
  21. Yeah, thats a fairly old RX. I remember seeing this pictures and that page a while ago, but havent heard of anything new in a while. Still a very nice car. -Brian
  22. I got to see it when I was at johns shop a couple weeks ago. Very very impressive video Eric! Are you in the process of editing it all? -Brian
  23. what i'd like to know is how did Tony get a copy of the Rubicon vid? Did eric already start to distribute them? -Brian
  24. I dont see why it wouldnt be possible. You handled your car very well on our trip, and with your past experience with off-road rigs and VW's, i think you'd be the man to pull it off. -Brian
