  1. Best thing you can do with a sunroof is go around with silicone and a wipe. Use the wipe first with water and clean the rubber nice and clean carefully as well as the metal it meets . Then spray some silicone spray in a can and use a brush or another cloth to wipe the seal nice and shiny. Then with a nozzle on the silicone bottle spray all parts that might move and anywhere else you like. Do this every so often during the year. I am going to do my car every couple of months when I am bored. Comon simple solution is just clearing all the sunroof drains as mentioned.
  2. there is two idle screws one on the top and bottom. I am not even sure why there are two.
  3. Fuel pump relay or ignition relay, OR maybe not even these at all. Maybe its a dead ECU coolant temp sensor!!!
  4. What is it idling at? You can adjust the screw to some degree. Although you might just need to setup your TPS sensor. http://www.main.experiencetherave.com/subaru_manual_scans/FSM_Scans/ Go to TPS testing.
  5. I am pretty sure this was a recall. The units are both together. Take it to your dealership. Also do a quick search.
  6. Welcome, I am pretty sure it is the same length. As far as I know atleast lol. On the side that goes into the diff stub it should move in and out pretty far. Can you pull it? I find sometimes it gets stuck because of so much grease creating a vacuum.
  7. Best bet is to keep the revs up so da motor stays in vtec. Oh wait.... hahahaha
  8. So you're saying that the outlet is the lower hose on the subaru? The pump pulls coolant out of the engine and pushes it up into the radiator? no no the other way! Regardless these cars can run at any possible temperate on earth! Subaru has tested there vehicles in freezers just to make sure they can start in -65 just incase without a heater and no it will not overheat!
  9. Technically the fuel injector duty will change on its own because there is more pressure. Unless there wasn't enough pressure to begin with should make no difference.
  10. hard starting is usually just the ecu temp sensor or you need to run some seafoam via a vacuum hose. Tailegate jamming can probably be fixed with some lube on the handle, hinge, and lock. To help control oil leaks possibly try a new pcv valve and stick with oem. Same goes with the temp sensor.
  11. round silver one. Brownish one is the ignition relay. It is a very tight area but you can break the relays out of place with long fishing needle nose pliers then stick your hand in and grab the wires to pull it out.
  12. I think its normal. It shouldn't run for to long after the car is cool atleast. I usually put my temp in the middle of the cold side and leave the fans on atleast 2 or 3. How are you checking your charge btw? I would also suggest you clean the condenser with a power washer its just infront of the rad ( I am sure you know lol). If it is dusty or dirty it could cause this issue.
  13. Those relays are for the fans not the fuel pump. They are not the same as the fuel pump either. The fuel pump relay is difficult to access but if you remove the cover below the steering wheel and look on the left side in a little area you should see this badboy. You will need long needle nose pliers to get to it and once its out its difficult to put back so just leave it somewhere more accessible like I found mine.
  14. I am pretty sure it will be a 4.11 like US models. Just do the diff test as mentioned. http://www.main.experiencetherave.com/owner/117.jpg 90-91 legacy N/A.
  15. Why was it a big mistake? With the new CVT gets much better fuel economy then the previous model, there is plenty of space. I don't see how plenty more interior room and better fuel economy is really a BIG mistake.
  16. I am sure the little light that turns Red will notify you faster or atleast get your attention faster then a guage IMO. The light probably trips really soon like at 220F. I am pretty sure the front read out has a ECU temp read out regardless. The styling doesn't appeal to me ATM, still prefer a lower sharp edged stance I guess I could call it like the previous model. This one is to um, round per say lol. Wouldn't mind giving it a test drive just out of curiousity though!
  17. Well if the belt skips I think it will give you a cam or crank sensor code. No check engine light, or codes?
  18. The guy should have towed it with all 4 wheels on the ground atleast. Interesting that it won't start now though! Hopefully the tranny was in neutral maybe the timing belt broke or skipped a few teeth.
  19. your best bet is to hook everything back up the way it was. Did you cap everything though ? Supposedly you need to replace the drier to. You can use over the counter r12a refrigerent. I would also get a bottle of stop leak. You will need 4 cans. Just need to pull a vacuum first. If you know someone in hvac they can pull a vacuum for you.
  20. AWD or FWD was a option. You need to look under the back and see if the diff and axles are in place
  21. great now your going to have me worried about my 94 SS. Where to buy a tiny fire extinguisher?
