  1. I think the ECU defaulting to Limp Mode would be the biggest concern with a missing O2 sensor for an ECU that expected to see one.
  2. Not true.It is strictly an emissions thing. Porsche turbos did not have O2 sensors until required by emissions in 1980.They ran very well before then. The BMW 2002 turbo had no O2 sensor either Not to mention the 1000`s of Corvair turbos that preceded them. Maybe 86 JDM turbo Subes did not use one.Kinda doubt it though.Anybody Know for sure? Or maybe the FSM references a part difference for Australia?
  3. Read more carefully,5.5" is the wheel width, not the bolt pattern.
  4. It is a MGB wheel.They are 4 x 114.5. Can`t help on the Enkeis .
  5. No,the bolt circle is too small.You need 4 x 140mm,not 4 x114.5mm
  6. Not sure about 1973,but,75-79 hubs have their own part # 623600030. 1973 is probably the same part.
  7. Not a chance. It does not do anything unless you have AC anyhow. The auxiliary air valves are long gone too.
  8. Except for here https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.php?pk=28389&cc=1267736&jsn=348
  9. 491468711 They have been NLA for a while.
  10. If you have spark at the coil, but, not the plugs, then you have a bad distributor cap, rotor or plug wires.
  11. You "checked" fuses, but,do you have power at the coil? Trouble codes? Ignition pulses at the coil transistor plug?(use a LED test light to avoid overloading the ECU.
  12. It is a Hitachi D4Pxx-xx w/the same CAS as these. http://datsun1200.com/modules/mediawiki/index.php?title=Hitachi_D4P_Distributor
  13. Bad coil-does it work on another car? Or more likely,no connection to ground thru the transistor. Maybe no ignition pulses from the ECU on the WY wire to the transistor plug.(you need a LED style test light to see these) You never said if there were any trouble codes.
  14. 12V on BOTH sides of the fuse? Fuse is 4th from the right on the bottom row and labelled "ignition coil" on my 84. If you have 12v on both sides, then there is no connection between the fuse and the coil.
  15. What voltage at either side of the coil fuse and IGN terminal of ignition switch? What voltage at the coil if you remove all wires from coil negative?(key on)
  16. Plug the transistor in. Hook the eyelets up. Forget about mystery wires Drive your car. Might help to go back o the wrecker you got the transistor from and inspect the donors wiring.. I don`t have a SPFI car handy to look at.
  17. Actually, the round connector appears to be just the tach wire.Should work w/o that. The ring terminal needs to be on coil negative though. Your round connector seems different than the diagram as it has 2 wires.???
  18. F44 plugs into he round connector .F43 into the transistor. The ring terminal connected to the round plug goes to coil negative. 1990 wire colours may vary a little from the 1989 diagrams shown.
  19. No,WY is ignition pulses from the ECU. The transistor and coil conduct when there is a pulse. F44 yellow goes to coil negative. It won`t work w/o that.
