  1. Short of the tailgate chrome, I may know someone in Denton that can help. He's on the boards, but has only posted like twice in the past 4 years. Good luck on the tailgate chrome:grin:
  2. The fuel cutoff is built in to the ECU based on reference from the MAF. You can: Keep boost at 9psi or less Clamp the reference signal Install a piggy back type FCD Install megasquirt and throw the MAF away. Theres a ton more detailed info on the board about this. Everyone and thier mother has been fighting Hotwire fuel cut for quite a while Oh, and the Z injectors are direct swaps
  3. Donate to the save the Caleb fund.
  4. Leaving this here to spite Andy
  5. Thanks for the tip. I though I had accquired and stripped/crushed every EA82T in north TX :-p
  6. Been averaging a little over one per year . Each one faster and more fun than the previous one. installing a new motor soon. Going to be nice to it and make it last a while. Then the fun begins
  7. Just for reference. I got ~$2400 for an 88 2wd turbowagon. That was about 3 years ago.
  8. I have a dynomax on my wagon right now. 2.5 inch from the turbo back. No cats. Between blowups, it sounds really good.
  9. Interesting. Looks great man! So it would appear that if a brother wanted to use the 05+ leg type struts without the EDFC, one could do so with minimal modifications. Simply a bushing insert. *gears are turning*
  10. Not without an adapter plate and possible some custom DOJs
  11. Sounds like you used the correct parts to me. If it works, the part is always the correct part
  12. Not really Welcome
  13. Where are you getting your front clips from?
  14. Got the grill, front lip, rear lip and skirts from a member here on the board. it was about $150 if I remember right. The hood is off of an 85-86 vintage car. I just hacked it up for the scoop
  15. Another +1 for Rob. Has come through in a big way for me more than once. Ken, Ed, Zap and Mark are pretty high up on that list too.
  16. RX stuff Air Dam, rear lip, side skirts. And the matching grill if you're really cool. Here's the front lip and grill.. I haven't put the skirts on yet.
  17. 87+ digidash has a known problem with Jumpy temp gauges. I have been fairly effective in dealing with this by adding more / better grounds under the hood. It all seems to be ground related.
  18. Best - USDM STi motor
  19. Pulling the motor is easier than dropping the tranny. IMO
  20. Thanks Patrick. I haven't seen that site in a while. I may need to contact them soon.
