Pick and Pull / Dallas TX
Short of the tailgate chrome, I may know someone in Denton that can help. He's on the boards, but has only posted like twice in the past 4 years. Good luck on the tailgate chrome:grin:

EA-82T Boosting question
The fuel cutoff is built in to the ECU based on reference from the MAF. You can: Keep boost at 9psi or less Clamp the reference signal Install a piggy back type FCD Install megasquirt and throw the MAF away. Theres a ton more detailed info on the board about this. Everyone and thier mother has been fighting Hotwire fuel cut for quite a while Oh, and the Z injectors are direct swaps

Front strut interchangeability
- What muffler sounds good on an ea82t? 2.5" ss exhaust no cat.
Been averaging a little over one per year . Each one faster and more fun than the previous one. installing a new motor soon. Going to be nice to it and make it last a while. Then the fun begins- finaly some real suspension for my wagon!!!
Notice I said without the EDFC- Broken tie rod repairability
Just for reference. I got ~$2400 for an 88 2wd turbowagon. That was about 3 years ago.- What muffler sounds good on an ea82t? 2.5" ss exhaust no cat.
I have a dynomax on my wagon right now. 2.5 inch from the turbo back. No cats. Between blowups, it sounds really good.- finaly some real suspension for my wagon!!!
Interesting. Looks great man! So it would appear that if a brother wanted to use the 05+ leg type struts without the EDFC, one could do so with minimal modifications. Simply a bushing insert. *gears are turning*- tranny compatibility
Not without an adapter plate and possible some custom DOJs- I fixed my car with vacuum cleaner parts!!!
Sounds like you used the correct parts to me. If it works, the part is always the correct part- Hello USMB!
Not really Welcome- Ebay EJ20G
Where are you getting your front clips from?- '87 GL side skirts
Got the grill, front lip, rear lip and skirts from a member here on the board. it was about $150 if I remember right. The hood is off of an 85-86 vintage car. I just hacked it up for the scoop- a big thumbs up to rob(turbone)!!
Another +1 for Rob. Has come through in a big way for me more than once. Ken, Ed, Zap and Mark are pretty high up on that list too.- '87 GL side skirts
RX stuff Air Dam, rear lip, side skirts. And the matching grill if you're really cool. Here's the front lip and grill.. I haven't put the skirts on yet.- coolant temp guage and sender isolated from ECM?
87+ digidash has a known problem with Jumpy temp gauges. I have been fairly effective in dealing with this by adding more / better grounds under the hood. It all seems to be ground related.- Best 2.5 motor???
Best - USDM STi motor- ok heres the info and questions
Pulling the motor is easier than dropping the tranny. IMO- *...Need Help! Brat Stolen!!...*
Done- Need a new motor?
Thanks Patrick. I haven't seen that site in a while. I may need to contact them soon. - What muffler sounds good on an ea82t? 2.5" ss exhaust no cat.
