Short of the tailgate chrome, I may know someone in Denton that can help. He's on the boards, but has only posted like twice in the past 4 years. Good luck on the tailgate chrome:grin:

Just a guess

The fuel cutoff is built in to the ECU based on reference from the MAF. You can: Keep boost at 9psi or less Clamp the reference signal Install a piggy back type FCD Install megasquirt and throw the MAF away. Theres a ton more detailed info on the board about this. Everyone and thier mother has been fighting Hotwire fuel cut for quite a while Oh, and the Z injectors are direct swaps

Just for reference. I got ~$2400 for an 88 2wd turbowagon. That was about 3 years ago. -

Interesting. Looks great man! So it would appear that if a brother wanted to use the 05+ leg type struts without the EDFC, one could do so with minimal modifications. Simply a bushing insert. *gears are turning* -
Not without an adapter plate and possible some custom DOJs

Sounds like you used the correct parts to me. If it works, the part is always the correct part -
Not really Welcome

Where are you getting your front clips from?

Got the grill, front lip, rear lip and skirts from a member here on the board. it was about $150 if I remember right. The hood is off of an 85-86 vintage car. I just hacked it up for the scoop

calebz replied to starkiller's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
Another +1 for Rob. Has come through in a big way for me more than once. Ken, Ed, Zap and Mark are pretty high up on that list too. -
RX stuff Air Dam, rear lip, side skirts. And the matching grill if you're really cool. Here's the front lip and grill.. I haven't put the skirts on yet.

coolant temp guage and sender isolated from ECM?
calebz replied to Frank B's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
87+ digidash has a known problem with Jumpy temp gauges. I have been fairly effective in dealing with this by adding more / better grounds under the hood. It all seems to be ground related. -

Pulling the motor is easier than dropping the tranny. IMO
