  1. I have made a few changes Project will resurface in more viewable condition over the next couple months.
  2. RICE!!! :-p Actually - that setup sounds vaguely familiar.
  3. Oh boy - Current mod list: Hood Scoop RX Aero Kit RX Grill TWM Shift knob on slightly shortened shift rod. 2.5 inch custom turbo back exhaust Dynomax high flow muffler Boost and temp guages mounted in A pillar Blitz DCII Turbo Timer WRX Wheels 350/450 Height Adjustable Coilovers XT6 - 5 lug swap High compression Turbo motor TD04 Turbo WRX TMIC Volvo cold start 5th injector on hobbs switch 3AT P/T 4WD to FT4WD 5spd/difflock swap 2 core radiator 20mm Front and Rear Sway Bars Carbon Steel head bolt inserts Had it running perfectly just before I blew it up last time Stock WRX stood no chance - on a track, of course. I'm sure I'm missing a few things on that list Whatever it is that I am now putting together, it will have all that stuff with a few additions. WRX front struts (Here) Miata rear struts (Gotta get 'em) TD05H 16G Turbo (On its way) Spider Intake (Here) 280ZX injectors (Here) 43PSI FPR (Upgraded from 36PSI) Here) APEXi S-AFC Intake to be relocated to the fenderwell That will be enough to get it running stably. At that point I can put it on a wideband and see whats what and what will need to change. I don't really care too much about how much power it will make. It will make enough to be fun, I'm sure. I just want to ensure that it does it smoothly and safely (as safe as such a motor can be anyway). Somewhere after I get it back on the road, I will be doing a bunch of bushings, shifter mods and get the interior squared away - either well reconditioned and cleaned, or removed for weight savings. Oh - and once the RE92s are worn away, I need to get some slightly lower profile tires on there so I can crank the suspension down another inch or so.
  4. Dunno - first thing I did was fix that problem. Never driven this one with an auto. My last one was fwd auto ea82T - it was ok. Nothing like this one though. Then again, the first one was stock. This is anything but stock.
  5. Turbo will always beat out a NA equivalent for fun factor. Especially when something like this gets thrown in the mix.
  6. Depends on your definition of better Since I don't have to rely on it and drive it every day, a modded EA82T is better for my needs.
  7. My wife is in sacramento right now. Don't make me send her over there to kick your butt
  8. There are more pics - but they're all of a white wagon. There is a lot in the works right now. This will probably be my last EA82T - So I'm going to make the best of it and put together the best budget hotrod subaru ever! (Those that have been paying attention the past 4-5 years know this has been my direction since the beginning)
  9. Most definitely are. Short and light are two of the things that make a hatch as superior offroad rig (As far as old soobs go)
  10. no longer will I be the guy with the cool white wagon. However More to come soon - maybe even with a real camera.
  11. What moldings are you referring to? The black (Sometimes chromish i guess, too) strip that goes along the lip of the wheelwell opening? If so, I might have a set here. I don;t think I threw them away when I removed them from my wagon
  12. Yup - angle grinder and a cutoff wheel. Then sell them in the marketplace. Every set I have had has been snatched up quickly.
  13. It is probably lower in the rear because theres something in the trunk, or the springs are worn out from age. And yes, all ea82 suspension parts are interchangable. 2wd wagon will be slightly shorter than 4wd wagon
  14. I don't think there is a difference. I got my 2 row for about $130 shipped from radiators.com. I had to actually call them to place the order, but it only took 2-3 days to get here.
  15. I have wondered the same thing. My 87 doesn't have them, but my 88 did. Only thing to do is look to see of the mounts are there.
  16. According to their site, they don't carry anything in 4x140. Seriously - if you have viable info to the contrary and they do indeed have custom wheels for old school subaru/peugeot bolt patterns, it would be the find of the century. Though I can't imagine somone going out of their way to create a new line of customs for a 20 year old import:-\
  17. in 4x140? If so, links, pics and info would be nice for those still using that size.
  18. No gold mine. But I do tend to collect things that interest me. It just so happens that some of the crap I have collected may interest you as well. I am looking forward to having both of our wagons completed.
  19. I may be able to help you in your stumbling
  20. Thanks for the update Scott. We look forward to having you home again. On topic: I have a set of 280Turbo injectors. They fit quite well in the spider manifold
  21. So when are you coming home? More on topic, which manifold are you using these days? Spider or non? Gravity: thanks for posting that thread. I went looking for it a while back, and couldn't find it. PS - do you still have your flow/clean bench set up?
