  1. She stated the 2 other guys that drove it said they could not get it into 4th and were having probs getting into other gears (rough spots).
  2. If you use a 4wd tank, you will lose a couple gallons. I dont recall the exact sizes, but the tanks are different.
  3. Yeah, how come no one has posted any pics? Theres was 3 or 4 cameras there. C'mon, post em! Noah? Zap? Who took a pic of my blown up axle? Scott, how did the vid come out?
  4. What does the clutch pedal feel like when its pushed in? Where does the clutch engage? Close to the floor or way up at the top? I'm asking because this could also be a clutch issue. When you said you drove it again and it shifted fine, it might be the clutch acting up and just might need an adjustment.
  5. Before going to all the trouble of replacing your tranny, please check the fluids. The tranny/front diff dipstick is on the passenger side and close to the firewall (back of engine). It a short stick and might be hard to spot at first. It takes a 80/90wt grease.
  6. Must be a new fangled cup holder:brow: Hey, when are we going to see some pics of the new ride?
  7. These are the only pics I have so far, as I didnt get to go out to much last year. Unless someone took some at the X-Mas tree run.
  8. Ditto that. I dont suggest sucking on that hose either:slobber:
  9. Eh, my worst subject in school. Believe it or not:rolleyes:
  10. Hold the clutch in first, see if that disengages it. If that doesnt work, try backing up a ways, make sure your wheels are turned straight ahead also.
  11. When lining up the disty, the engine needs to be on the compression stroke. Take #1 sparkplug out and and turn engine over(with socket) and put finger in sparkplug hole. You will feel the aire being pushed out on the comp stroke.
  12. They appear to be after market wheels.
  13. Ah, but its the moulding, not the door that has the Leone lettering. I was originally thinking Canook, but when someone mentioned no AC for up north, the Mexico connection seems a better possibility.
  14. What? You need somebody to twist your arm? Kick you in the arse? Jeez:rolleyes:
  15. This one is from OZ, dont recall who owns it. But it sure got me wanting one like it.
  16. True, the Hatch does have a shorter departure angle. But the Coupe lifted would have a better coolness factor. I've been wanting to do it for years now.
  17. Well, its sure got me thinking again:banghead: Coupe with 3in lift and EJ22 conversion. Who wants to buy my Hatch for $1500?
  18. Dont feel bad, theres only 2 Hatches in all of OZ.
  19. Well, we certaintly have the stuff here to make one just like yours. We can get the dual intakes and we have lots of EA81 Coupes available. Is your a 4spd? And dont worry, I'll admit when I'm wrong. This was a generalized question, so it can apply to the whole planet I guess.
  20. Verify if you have fuel getting to the injectors. Did you replace the fuel filter? Sitting for that long could it have gone bad, not to mention it might have junk from the tank in it.
  21. Most of the people that post on this Board are form the States. I think he was asking if they imported one here. Both OZ and NZ got different imports than we did.
  22. Check out Ebay. Theres quite a few in different price ranges. http://motors.search-desc.ebay.com/Subaru_Dash-Parts_W0QQcatrefZC12QQcoactionZcompareQQcoentrypageZsearchQQcopagenumZ1QQfromZR2QQfrtsZ50QQfsooZ2QQfsopZ2QQftrtZ1QQftrvZ1QQftsZ2QQsacatZ40017
  23. No, they didnt. The only Coupe that was 4wd was the 83/84 Turbo Coupe, and it was a 3AT with single range 4wd. It would be quite simple to take a 5spd 2wd Coupe and convert it to 4wd D/R. A little bit harder if its a AT tho. They did have a 4wd Sedan, not sure what year, or if it had a S/R or D/R.
