  1. If the RX tranny has a diff lock, I would use the rear diff as well. And you would certainly need the rear driveshaft if you want 4wd.
  2. I might be able to live with that. Need to clean it up a little and maybe Qman can work his "magic".
  3. Have you done any other tune up stuff to it? If so, I would go with the bottle of dryer. You may have garbage in the fuel system.
  4. Usually all 5spd 4wd trannies have 3.9 rear diffs. There is a sticker on the back of the diff that will tell what the ratio is. Unless its a turbo, then the ratio would be 3.7.
  5. As I havent looked at the car yet, I assume (from what I was told) that the selector does move, its just the car that doesnt.
  6. I'm running 30x10.50 on 8in wheels. They stick out further than Qmans.
  7. Heres a couple from a HP outing at Evans Crk a few years ago.
  8. Anyone have a clue as to why it wont go into reverse? What to look for, etc?
  9. Its a possibility. But more colors means more money. We have to keep the cost down so we can get the nicer flex fits.
  10. Ok, I have a few here. I've got some more, just have to look on my zip disks to find them.
  11. Nice, but what I'm looking for is a dark colored hat with gold lettering. We've already had a few yes's for that configuration. Personally, I wouldnt touch a white hat. I would leave grease marks:-p How about flattening out the design, so its more oblong? It will wrap better on the front of the hat.
  12. I appreciate your efforts to help. But I think in this case, we could shoot oursellves in the foot (yours). Let me take care of any issues with the copyrights, I just need input from everyone on the design.
  13. Oh, sorry. I wasnt trying to, honestly. Been under alot of stress for a while:-\ I dont want to step on any trademark toes either. But it looks like this type of thing is quite common. When people use the logo and names for enhancing their business's, thats when the originator comes after them.
  14. Hmm, I could swear you had your arms under the hood after we got him out. And I took that pic also:D I think:-p
  15. Hmmm, may have to ditch the wreath. To much for the hat I think. And remember, the more stitches, the more $. Lets keep working on it. The more ideas the better.
  16. Use a 1/2in drive rachet and a real long extension(s), so your on the outside of the fender. This way you can get good leverage on the bolts and you dont bust your knuckles in the fender well. Penetrating oil helps also.
  17. Go back several post and look at the design I started. Its just a starting point/mock up. Any help will be appreciated and considered.
  18. Thats if I buy the hats from Subaru. Which I'm not doing, I'm getting them from the place that is doing the embroidery. If the product bearing the TM is not being used to promote another business and the sale of its products, I dont think there is going to be a problem with using the logo. If you dont feel right about it, I wont force you to purchase a hat:cool: If anyone cares to read thru all the legalise of TM, Copyrights and Patents, heres the link: http://www.uspto.gov/web/offices/tac/doc/basic/index.html I have never seen a registered mark on any of the Subaru logo's, only on the name itself. And the logo I'm using is the Old School one.
  19. Yes its been done before. Try doing a search under the user name JWX.
  20. Well, this is Zap after cleaning out your engine compartment. That sucker was packed full of mud and debris:lol:
  21. It depends. If the weatherstripping is in good shape and the rockerpanels arent bashed in. I wouldnt say they are totally leak proof, they will leak after a period of time, maybe 15min more or less. Heres a old pic of Austin in his EA81 Water Wagon:D I think this is where he decided he needed a snorkel:brow:
  22. I think the Thruston Co ORV park is open again. Its just east of Oly.
