  1. Those are the same seats I have in my 89 RX. Not all had the checkered seats, especially in later years. Are those your driving goggles on the dash?:-p
  2. No, its usually the built in Voltage regulator that dies. The Diodes go bad after a while. The main reason the chain stores keep getting them back after a week or so is because of the cheap parts that are used in the remanufacturing.
  3. A 3 core would certainly help keep it cooler, its the biggest problem with the EA81T. If you have AC and it gets very warm in your Hemisphere, I would consider the exspense as well spent.
  4. Dont think theres any difference, but it will need to have the cooler lines for the tranny. Unless the car has been converted to MT.
  5. I need a 2wd tank in my Hatch badly. On my trip to Rieter Pit last weekend, I went thru a tank+ of gas. And with prices going up, I may not make to many more trips like that. My big problem, even tho I have 8in of lift, the diff hanger has a plate welded on the bottom where the diff is attached. The actual hanger is still in its original location. This means I have to design and fab a whole new hanger in order to put a 2wd tank in:banghead:
  6. Looks more like one of the rare GL optioned models. Whats the vin # and we can tell then.
  7. Ok, disregard my earlier post, it was late for me:rolleyes: Is this person going to purchase one of the yards by the river in Kent? Thats where most of them are located. Havent been there for a while, but usually take the scrappers to AA there. Kent would be a little closer for me, but the prices would have to be close to the PAP's and have a good variety also.
  8. This is obviously a joke. No one could be that stupid, could they? But then again, like one of our illustrious members states......... YOU CANT FIX STUPID:banghead:
  9. Personally, I've never bought anything from Aarons:cool: The places to go to get old gen stuff is the Tacoma PAP and the Lynwood PAP. Been going there for years, you need to get out of Seattle more often:D
  10. Those are great! Thanks Tex, you the man (and Noah too). Love the one with the Sami laying on its side next to me. Looks like mine knocked him over:lol:
  11. She stated the 2 other guys that drove it said they could not get it into 4th and were having probs getting into other gears (rough spots).
  12. If you wanted to be helpful, why not post a link to it:brow:
  13. If you use a 4wd tank, you will lose a couple gallons. I dont recall the exact sizes, but the tanks are different.
  14. Yeah, how come no one has posted any pics? Theres was 3 or 4 cameras there. C'mon, post em! Noah? Zap? Who took a pic of my blown up axle? Scott, how did the vid come out?
  15. What does the clutch pedal feel like when its pushed in? Where does the clutch engage? Close to the floor or way up at the top? I'm asking because this could also be a clutch issue. When you said you drove it again and it shifted fine, it might be the clutch acting up and just might need an adjustment.
  16. Before going to all the trouble of replacing your tranny, please check the fluids. The tranny/front diff dipstick is on the passenger side and close to the firewall (back of engine). It a short stick and might be hard to spot at first. It takes a 80/90wt grease.
  17. Must be a new fangled cup holder:brow: Hey, when are we going to see some pics of the new ride?
  18. These are the only pics I have so far, as I didnt get to go out to much last year. Unless someone took some at the X-Mas tree run.
  19. Hopefully on 4 wheels instead of 2?
  20. Ditto that. I dont suggest sucking on that hose either:slobber:
  21. Eh, my worst subject in school. Believe it or not:rolleyes:
  22. Hold the clutch in first, see if that disengages it. If that doesnt work, try backing up a ways, make sure your wheels are turned straight ahead also.
  23. When lining up the disty, the engine needs to be on the compression stroke. Take #1 sparkplug out and and turn engine over(with socket) and put finger in sparkplug hole. You will feel the aire being pushed out on the comp stroke.
  24. They appear to be after market wheels.
  25. Ah, but its the moulding, not the door that has the Leone lettering. I was originally thinking Canook, but when someone mentioned no AC for up north, the Mexico connection seems a better possibility.
