Did you win the state lottery? Cant wait to see it run @ WCSS8:burnout:

As far as I know all Subaru's prior to 93 had unprogrammable ECU's. You might be able to piggy back it, but theres more $ and no guarentee it will work right. As for the items you just mentioned, most of those with major upgrades have AF meters, which can be bought fairly cheap. Some here have toasted thier motors because they lacked one and have now learned a important lesson. As for the injector pulse width and ignition advance, thats what a O-Scope is for. And yes, I have 2. Both were cheaper than a dyno run. Alot of us "Old Timers" here (I wont say names) have cut thier teeth on V8 HP and know instinctevly the amount of ponies that are coming out the engine and to the ground. And most likely have spent time on dyno's testing and improving. Some of us just dont need no stinkin dyno. Dyno's are for people who continuesly loose races and are trying to figure out why:cool:

How about "My Woodie"

Help: Loose Steering Wheel !!!
Turbone replied to Carmen's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
There is a bushing the the shaft goes through at the top. This will wear out and cause lots of movement. Very hard to replace, easier to replace whole steering colomn. -
Maybe its because some of us have better things to do, or just dont have the time to deal with dyno'n something. Putting a car on a dyno isnt exactly cheap either. Life happens and it always doenst revolve around cars.
-
That depends. This is pretty close to perfect (in my eyes, but I'm biased:D )

Patience can pay...

The rear wing from a RX will fit with a little work. -
That Hatch is mine now, and I would NEVER put those anchors on my car:mad: The way its setup now, I wouldnt be surprised if it can go more places than with those tracks.
-
Mike, you might be misunderstanding the situation. Only rigs that are driving up to the ORV parks are going to be ticketed. Once in the Park, your fine.

did these cars ever come out of the factory?
Turbone replied to Jack in Norfolk's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
Yup. Sure miss that place:-\ -
Hmm, I dont think the wheel you show here is a representation of what they are selling as a "Subaru Brat Wheel". The ones on the website are typical OEM wheels that fit all EA81 vehicles.

Where does it say its a Felony? Theres a back way to Evans Crk. I will definatly be investigating this route when I go next time (soon).

Strange- idle drops when oil cap is removed
Turbone replied to Subarian's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
The turbo's are a closed system. Anytime you open a air passageway it will drop the idle. -
My garage is now complete!

Yeah, ditto that. I have a tarp and a piece of plywood:mad: -
I think there is a Honda kit that can be made to fit. You can get more info on the kits for XT's at XT6.net. They are no longer made and are extremely hard to find.

Options for more ponies on the ER27???
Turbone replied to skishop69's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
From what I understand, the ECU cannot be hacked. You might be able to piggyback it tho. Alot of people here are getting away from swaps like this because theres alot of fitage headaches. The better engine for a swap is the EJ's, it fits nicely into any year engine bay, is very dependable, has lots of available upgrades. -
Mounting is the easy part. I need a beefier Alt and dual battery setup to make it run right;)

South Prairie and Prairie Ridge are 2 different places. The former is down in the "Valley" and about 3mi away. Mykey lives in SP:-p

Hey, I know a guy in SP who is far far worse than me
