  1. This would be Patrick, the only US direct dealer of the BYB lift. His web site is Ozified
  2. I sent Tex an email on how he wants them sent to him. I have few, but they may need to be zipped or compressed to email.
  3. You might want to read the first post And view the pics in the Gallery too.
  4. Thats a pertty 3dr Even if it is red (I'm superstitous). Garner, these WS are glued in. I will be getting a quote for a replacement on my wagon this week, I'll post it when I get it. Dan, you pay for my gas and I'll get that tranny(if its in PDX)
  5. Actualy its not an alingment. Its the toe in. I replaced the front air on my XT6 also and noticed that the bracket on the struts had to be massaged to fit the hub. This certainly changes the toe in and may need to be adjusted. Hopefully they can do it right at a shop for you.
  6. How about a better explanation on how you shortened the springs? Others may want to know how you did it(or is it a trade secret)
  7. Well, I congradulate you You are one of the few that have actually done the conversion, and made it work. I second the request for USRM placement.
  8. I see the person that outbid you has bid on another Subaru also. This guy trying to corner the market on old Soobs, or what?
  9. Check this site out, they may have an answer for you. I have the same tranny, but havent had the car long enough to know all the problems with it. XT6.net
  10. I assume all pics need to be of HP members and thier outings? I have a few pics that might look good on the site. I will have to go thru them and seperate the best and send them to Tex.
  11. Maybe the XT6 TB TPS is acting up. Is it wired the same as the spider? Picking your brain a little, might be doing the same upgrade.
  12. Sounds like fuel starvation. But you say it was like this before the spider intake and XT6 TB, so now my thinking that theres to much air being forced in doesnt hold much now. Might need to find some bigger injectors or bigger fuel pump maybe?
  13. LMAOAROF I just looked at the message under his screen name Its ok, I know he will fix it. But, DOH!
  14. Hey, Qman may have some pics a little later of his escapades after the earleir X-Mas tree scouting run today. He brought the Brat by on the trailer, in the dark, and I could barely see it(you all know its silver). A local farm decided to let the crazies around here take a run thru the pumpkin patch. $100 if they could make it thru. I'll let him finish the story, with pics hopefully. Oh, and nice body work there Zap
  15. It looks alot like the Dodge Rampage from the mid 80's.
  16. If you dont have anything to contribute, then dont visit This is whats been needed for a while now. When folks have questions about mods and stuff, they dont have to flood the Main board weekly with the same questions.
  17. I dont know about you guys, but check out that engine bay some more. Thats a nightmare! I think it needs a updated EA81T in it.
  18. The temp sending unit on a EA81T is on the gooseneck below the T-Stat, and it only has one wire from it. This goes to the gauge. There is a seperate sensor on top of the T-Stat that might be sending readings to the ECU. If the person that was selling the manuals a yearago had sent me the elec manual I bought from him, I would be able to tell you more about it
  19. Are the heads yours or from rguyver? It almost sounds like the valves are bent. Or you could be right and the rings are toast. What about the DP? Is it gutted? Maybe plugged, but that doesnt explain the bad compression. Your also right about the carby short block, alot easier to find
  20. Hey Kowboy, seeing how I'm just down the Hwy from you, whats this local yard in Enumclaw? Welcome to the board btw.
  21. This mod has been done by several so far. It should have a write up and be in the USRM soon. Havent heard of anyone frying their wiring yet.
  22. For those of us that know the shortcut for replacing a heater core, there are the guys in the shops that dont, and end up doing it by the book. That means taking the entire dash out, then the housing that holds the core. Then you have to split that to remove the core. Then you have the fun of putting it all back together Now, what would you charge to do that? Granted, I wouldnt charge as much as the shop did, they usually have a high overhead Roundeye, my sympathies go out to you
  23. Wow, what are the chances of this happening again? Its good to know the car is finally running without problems. It seems that this issue isnt that common, tho I know theres a few folks out there that have had some type of fuel problems. I wonder if its due to your location and availability of gas?
  24. Welcome to the board. I dont know why you brought up a post thats almost a year old tho? What are you searching for? Theres quite a few full time mechs on the board and we have alot of Tech School students also. Unfortunatly, the original poster never came back to tell us if the car got fixed and what the problem was. Even tho I did state that it could be a disty going bad, I now think it could have been the coil. Its been a current problem here lately.
