Code 21???? with PICS!!!
NuclearBacon replied to NuclearBacon's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
ok ok , very cool! i looked at the sensor.. and it looks like one of the wires just screws into the side of the sensor, or the sensor housing... is this right? and i didnt see any way to unplug it. unless its further up the wiring loom. thanks again! -

Hello to all my brilliant USMB friends!!!! i have another question that the FSM does not explain... I recieved a code 21 which i realize is a Thermometer sensor *whatever its called* i dont know where it is... and as well as i've searched and read the descriptions... they conflict... and i cannot get a straight answer. SO! i resort to pics! that way i know EXACTLY. i think it is one of 3 things.... which one is the question (excuse the mess under the hood... went mudding... and havent cleaned up yet ) here is my engine: Here are the three sensors. are any of these the correct one to throw the code?? Sensor 1: Sensor 2: And... Sensor 3: Are any of these the correct ones?!?! if they are, would you reccomend purchasing a NEW one? or going to the JY and getting one there. Thank you So much again for all your help! Luigi

hello to all! so i was driving home from chico this weekend, and i figured out that my climate controls dont work! woohoo!! yay no defroster in crazy rain with the fog of DEATH! *whew* ok, so none the less i read and research (before i post, like a good little USMB monkey that i am) and i cant find quite what im looking for... so! i need to know what to do and where this thing goes... what thing? ok i'll show you... this is how the vacuum lines looked before i bought it. So then i screw around for a month before i go and purchase the car (like a year ago or so now...) and now the vacuum lines look like this... SO! does anyone know where exactly the routing goes? i realize there is a hard line missing... i will get one. but as soon as it runs accross... what then? theres this mess over on the drivers side.... *shudder* But i dont know what im looking at.... i know its a big question, with probably a LOT of explination. but i will sincerely appriciate it! and make you a HOT DOG at WCSS!!! SWEET!!! that should get everyones typing fingers juiced! hehe... i bet juced typing fingers look like hot dogs... ....moving on.. ....... that T junction from what i can tell is going to the correct place. for some reason its moved to the top nip. but it does go into the intake manifold.. i can post a video of the engine bay and see where it gets me if that would help everyone out. and just to show ... this is where one end of the T ends up: Thanks again for your help!!!! I NEED DEFROST! thanks! Luigi

Hey everyone!! i havent been on in a few days (and for those of you who know me, thats wierd, since i eat-sleep-breathe-think USMB like a lot.) and i thought i would throw a couple of pics since i was messing around with the looks of the GL-10 So heres my first one, This is with the Peugoet steelies i got at the junkyard on half price day (with ALL 4 tires having like.. almost FULL tread) for about 32 bucks. haha, they're huge, and my car has a stance thats... slanted.. you can see the difference HOW much it is from the front tire to the rear... check it... The Front: And the Rear: And how it looked... BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Badass if i do say so myself. LOL but damn the rubbing!!! i'll have to wait to use those monsters. hahahaha. Ok ! so onto the next set... I got a set of 4 Steelies off of a once loved subaru at the Pick-a-Part yard (it kinda breaks my heart seeing those cars there, ya know? especially the old soobs with like 245,000, anywho!...)... SO i got these rims and they were only ...24 dollars at 1/2 price day. They looked like... Crapzilla. this was the nicest of the 4 lol Ew. So i decided to fix them.. sanding... ...sanding more... sanding TONS more... washing, drying, PAINTING. and here you have it.... the GL-10 looks BADASS!!! (and yes, thats a pink house, Welcome to California) observe: I havent taken a picture ... or even seen for that matter the rims clean since i put them on. with the rain recently, ive been searching for little...mudholes hehe so that was pretty much it! Enjoy
