  1. The first hatch I owned I drained out the old stuff and then put in mobil 1 synthetic 75w90.Comes in those little gray bottles with the pointed tip.It seemed to help shifting quite a bit.I plan on doing the same thing to mine this weekend. Some may argue that sythetic is not the best choice but I love the mobil 1 stuff and use it in everything that I drive.
  2. Hey Tom I would love very much to go,but fundage and time limits me to not be able to go.Sorry mate I would love to sometime.

  9. That is pretty sweet! Looks like a clean install. All I can say is they better protect that oil filter in the front!Hangs down quite a bit as you can see in the head on view!:-\
  10. Very interesting! Here where I work at we have 2 outbacks that serve as medical equipment repair vehicles. They are mainly used carrying medical equipment to and from hospitals and service equipment in the mountains.Everyone loves the all wheel drive of those subies here where I work especially in the winter.

  12. I wanted to just put out a feeler and see if there is a chance on a group buy on the byb ozified 3.5" EA81 lift kits?I wrote an email to PKDavis to find out but haven't heard back yet. Thanks
  13. Cause mostly outside the U.S. the cool stuff came standard!
  14. That looks great!I love the way your hatch looks. How much of a lift and what size tires were you running on the trail.Nice trail too!
  15. Man those are great!Ya know that would make some nice temporary christmas tree decorations!Make a subie tree!Don't know where that idea came from. I love all of those. They are truely treasures.
  16. Were you out driving the Beefaru today on I-70 east bound around 1:30?I was traveling westbound and I coulda sworn I saw it cause it had the same color on the bottom of the body and the upper looked like purplish blue color in the sun.I was almost 90% sure it was cause it was so shiny!
  17. Could be rings or it could be that the valves are so carbon fouled that they wont seat properly.Valve guide seals may be shot as well.
  18. The radiator is best to go have it hot tanked.Same for the overflow.
  19. Like just stated it really is art! Thanks for sharing that with us!It is really a thing of beauty.
  20. The reflection on that paint is so good that I can see the paint booth filters! Nice painting.
  21. First, how many miles on the engine you are thinking of getting? Also what year of car is the engine from? If mileage is low I wouldn't worry about it and just put some timing belts on it before you put it in and maybe a couple seals if needed.
  22. I don't think you need to adjust them at all.I would just run some sea foam in the oil before your next oil change.Should take care of it.
  23. Man that car is amazing!I find it hard to believe you can find them like that!It is almost like grabbing them the way they would be 20years ago.Are you sure you don't have a time machine!
  24. Check with McBrat on decals. He turns out some great quality stuff.
