This is My old Manual XT6, When sold to STI-Wolf, It had a gremlin that I couldn't find. but He found it. Mechanically the engine only had about 10k on a Reseal, new OEM Radiator, And lots of hours. I just got fed up with gremlins. (I had a lot of them!) Oh And I have a CAT for it. But you have to take the entire Parts car for $500 it runs, Pm Me if you want it.

ok, I'm officially Weberized. It still needs fine tuning.. I.E. it loads up a little bit at IDLE. Idle fluctuates a little bit. but the sound when that secondary opens up... DAMN! I put it 4 wheel drive and just romped on it and I got up pretty quick.. although not as quick as my Turbo legacy that I test spun up to 7-11 from the house... (damn thats FAST)

The air bleeds are the ones on top? they say 170 and 160 on them... and the jets are 140 140... -
Ok, so I thought I would Photo shoot my weber rebuild... Maybe to help others, maybe to Have GD tell me what I'm doing wrong.. J/K GD.. The jets are 60 and 70. before the bath the Secondary wouldn't open.. So I got one of the Buckets of Parts Cleaner from work and soaked it in that over night... and then soapy water with a brush, then Brake cleaned it... now The secondary opens... and everything looks smooth... $50 for the Weber. I have Redline Part # 92.3237-05 Rebuild Kit 41030-020 Nitrofill float 57804.097 Power Valve 99217.332S Air Cleaner. After tax $84.15 $16 dollars for the Cleaners. What I started with.. After The Bath...

What ever happened to the $50 Dollar Paint job, I heard that it was a viable solution to paint issues.

For us in Seattle, We have Superior Subaru In Burien, (206)-433-1709. These guys are great, I went in for a valve adjustment, and it cost me $100 bucks, but they inspected everything, Tuned it better than I could, Gave me a list of things that should be done, and on top of that the worked on my Exhaust to quiet it down, Because he loves these rigs, and wants to see me get this one right... Steve went above and beyond what I expected him to do, so he has won my business on anything I'm not sure if I can do right. There are still good techs out there and These guys are awesome so if your in Seattle or round abouts I would recommend these guys. There prices are decent and if you are a do it yourselfer, you can even ask questions. they help, They Care. -

I worked as a Parts Tech at A Large Honda/Kia Dealership, (Bob Lanphere Renton Honda/Kia) And For the Most part the Techs were Really Professional and did the job they were supposed to do. I remember one job, It was a 92 Accord- it Desperately needed a new motor. The tech said he was reluctant to just replace the Head Gasket because it needed rings and other things but the customer didn't have the money and or didn't believe him. So he did the Best he could on that Head Gasket. He went above and beyond the Call of duty on that engine. There are still Dealerships out there That I trust. Auburn Subaru, Renton Honda. Then The Little Guys, Although I hate to admit it, Tom at Aarons Auto Wrecking, Rob and Steve at Superior Subaru in Burien. But then again I wont go Near Carter Subaru. And Am reluctant to do business with Walkers or Chaplins. I just bought my JDM engine for my Brat, And guess where its going on Monday to get the Valves adjusted, Superior Subaru. Because they Care and they Do the Job right. -
Son of a Headgasket... Now with JDM goodness!!

Well got it installed today... tomorrow is intake and everything else. I'll take pictures tomorrow. -
My XT6, Has a BRAND NEW OEM Oil Pump, and at idle my gauge says 0. and 30 on the free way. and 45 when cold. But I know its better than that because my oil is clean. No TOD unless I park funny over night (tilted) I'm cheap and don't feel like installing a oil pressure gauge.
-
Well, I'm shooting for Tuesday Wednesday install. I could use all the EA81 knowledge I can use... If you could swing down, I might be able to buy some parts off of you...
