i recently acquired a dust deflector from a gen 1 wagon. i need to mount it on an 88 wagon (gen 2?). the original "feet" were of the wrong angle of course and would not fit properly. during dismantling, three of the four bolts broke at the head, making the original feet unusable. i'm trying to get some ideas as to how i should mount this. i was thinking of just using some steel strap for the "feet", and some square tubing for the "leg" part. i don't have access to a new generation spoiler, so i can't just use the feet from that one. can anybody think of any other methods i could use? i'm open to suggestions.

i use an accell coil w/platinum plugs. they're nice. i need to get some new wires after my clutch. i'll really know then. i don't know if the two=prong platinum plusses are any better than the regular platinums. they are supposed to be but i have heard that they usually don't spark at the same time anyway. merry X-Mas, Kwanzaa, Chanukah, Tet, etc. HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

i was just curious because i want to get as many miles out of my baby as possible. it only has 114k on it. it only needs some upper work. a head gasket replacement. i blew it out during a MASSIVE overheat. i found a loyale automatic 2wd with 55k original miles and i'm trying to convince this kid that he can get a way better car for $750-1000. i know he can't, but he doesn't need to know that. what is cylinder head servicing? is this just checking the heads for warps and the like?

this pleiadas constellation, is that what the 6 star fuji emblem is all about? -
couldn't you also weld the diff and get the same effect? you really wouldn't want to "drive" it. better for off-road though. isn't this what posi-track is

i'm tring to get as much info as possible on my newest project. i was told that you were the man to talk to. i plan on squeezing some 26.1" tyres under a stock ea82. i heard that you did this on a hatch. how bad did you have to reshape things? what should i do, what are some shortcuts? should i go chevy, toyota, or should i just spring for the pugs? thanks braha

i'm gonna go in the 25ish range. this will save me some money and i can always get a lift down the road. my current ride isn't the nicest so i'm not worried about beating the sh!t out of it. i'm sure when i purchase a nicer wagon my fire for a lift will be re-ignited. right now, i'm just struggling to make rent and pay my bills. i work 14 hour days 3-5 days per week and 7 hour days 6 days per week. i'm just trying to get re-established and stable once again. -

i just thought i'd read about someone with 27s and no lift. i want to at least fit some 25's then. i just need economical clearance. -

would it be better to use toyota or chevy rims to accomidate some 26-27" rubber w/o a lift. i just cant wait to get that much needed clearance. plus with the money i'll save from the lift, i can get a winch. -

Outside Diameter: 8-7/8 Spline: 1 Teeth: 24 is this the right measurements for the disk on a D/R? mdjdc: you've put three in? they can't be as good as you say they are if you've gone through that many. i'm looking for one with a lifetime warranty i think. the only problem is that with a lifetime warranty, i think you have to have it installed or inspected or something. -

i was just wondering where i should go for a new clutch. autozone has one w/a lifetime warranty for $210-ish. anybody know if their clutches are decent? should i go w/a factory subaru part or can i get away with something cheaper? thanks fellas

this is the first time that i noticed this, but when i took a hard right turn today, i saw a relatively small puff of blue smoke come out. what is causing this?

so, with a little trimming, i can fit in some 26-27" tires? am i reading this correctly? this would work great for my very limited budget. this way, i can at least get the clearance that i need. of course it won't look half as beasty as a lifted soob, but i can always do that down the road or when i upgrade to a better car. i want to get an xt6 that is for sale, but i think my next car will be a gl-10 sedan w/a turbo. hopefully -
hell, there isn't much that you guys could make that wouldn't fly off the presses. i really want to show my subalove.

is the o2 sensor necessary for normal operation. the reason i ask is i am going to be installing a custom exhaust and don't really want to tap any holes.
